This air fryer/oven was a game changer in my home. My kids used it to make meals and after-school snacks without having to fire up the oven. Toast, fries, nuggets, chicken breast, steak, salmon. Too bad it didn’t last. It just stopped working about a year later.

This seems to be working fine but expect the bad chemical smell to take longer than your first few uses to dissipate. Which makes me wonder how much of this is actually healthy? I mean if you are consuming food that is cooked in hot air that releases the manufacturing chemicals, than I am not sure that is a really safe consumption. I may have to return it-it may be as terrible as a Microwave oven. As far as the quality, the screw that holds the rotisserie rack keeps falling out. Also, I really only enjoy the fries and veggies. I think the chicken leaves an unpleasant smell and it does not help that spices and seasonings are meant to make it smell tasty but then I have high expectations from my flavors and aromas....

This fryer can do so much more than the NewWave one I had, I like the options of using the trays. Price was good.

We made a variety of meals, including some Chick-fil-A imitation sandwiches, sweet potato fries, air-fried fish, and more. Across the board the unit was quick, quiet, and the presets largely aligned very closely with the recommendations in the recipes. In terms of performance, I don’t really have any major complaints. The only thing worth mentioning in this regard is that if you are using every rack to try and cook multiple items, or large recipes of a single item, you will likely find that the top rack will cook quickest and the most evenly, while lower racks will get less direct heat, and thus cook/crisp slower. This isn’t a deal breaker by any means, but is worth being aware of, as cooking will need to be adjusted accordingly. Where I do have some more complaints, although again not deal-breaking, is in the cleaning of the unit. The wire racks are fairly thin, and can be very difficult to clean by hand, with food easily being caught in the small holes of the rack. They are dishwasher safe, which helps a lot, but if troublesome food is still caught, you may need to clean by hand. Likewise, there is a gap between the door and unit when the door is open, which makes it very easy for food to fall through when moving food in and out of the unit. There is also a very thin gap between the frame of the machine and the metal internal heating lining, which can catch very small food particles, again, adding difficulty to the cleaning process. Its not an overt issue, but if you are a bit of a cleaning nut like I am, it will prove challenging. All-in-all though, this is still a very excellent unit. It works exactly as advertised, the multi-functions and presets are useful and accurate, and the actual performance is great. Clean-up can be a bit of a pain, but with some practice it gets easier over time. The gap between the door and the unit is likely my biggest pain point, as I find I continually end up with crumbs and oil on the counter while cooking, but in the big picture, its still a small issue for a great product.

Compact unit is very simple to use and clean. This is a convenient alternative to using the microwave oven.

Horrible buy. Although the rotisserie is convenient the adaptor is loose and keeps falling out. Owned for 1 year and completely failed with only light use. Thank god for totaltech and got my money back.

Just ok. The issue is the cooking varies quite a bit between the shelves. The only way I am able to use multiple shelves well is to manually rotate 1-2 times while cooking. Rotisserie is a little joke. i miss my simple old air fryer.

overall i would say that these air fryers are definitely worth the purchase. I feel like you cant really go wrong...main thing you might want to consider is the size of the air fryer.
