At first I thought it was supposed to be a documentary but it's actually a film about the writers take on what really happened . Very interesting there are parts that are slightly graphic.

A very good drama about the Chernobyl disaster in Russia. I thought the acting was very good and the film really kept my attention. I would highly recommend this series as a good watch

Very much enjoyed this series. I was in my last year of college when this tragic event happened. The movie did take some necessary liberties, but overall was very accurate.

This movie is based on the story of the Chernobyl disaster. It was a very sad and suspenseful story. The make-up artist(s) for the victims in this movie deserve an award.

This series covers the Chernobyl nuclear reactor incident with stunning drama. Acting is superb. Image is excellent albeit a little dark. This is a must buy.

This short 5-episode series may not be the most action packed, but it keeps you engaged throughout the whole viewing.

What is the cost of telling lies? Chernobyl answers this question in heartbreaking detail. This series explores the cost of lies, selfish behavior, and a refusal to acknowledge truth because of personal inconvenience. Likewise, it shows the brave few willing to risk life and limb and take personal responsibility to fix larger than life problems. Excellently paced storytelling and characterization tell the story from all sides and a grand finale reveals all. Be sure to catch the companion podcast made by HBO; it's a worthwhile behind the scenes companion piece.

The Chernobyl mini series is an important story to tell. It is often difficult to look at but worth watching.

I watched Chernobyl on HBO and absolutely loved it. The story line was great with great acting to support it.
