Quick to heat, mat protects counter, great color!! The ceramic plates don't burn my hair. The straightness lasts for hours without having to use hair spray. I like the Velcro strap that came with it to keep the cord together when not in use.

Heats up fast and straightens hair well. Leaves my hair soft and shiny, but you can find the same quality for a little less.

I was skeptical at first on buying an expensive flat iron, but after some brand research I decided to try Chi. I will never buy another cheap flat iron. This iron did not snag my hair, glided very smoothly, left a nice shine and no static. This would be a 5 star review but I've only used it once.

Bought this for myself because I recently cut my hair really short. I use this just to fix my hair the way I want it as my hair is very stubborn. Very easy to use and heats up really fast. I would recommend this to anyone :)

I love how hot this iron gets and how smoothly it glides on your hair. I was originally looking for a one and a half inch iron, but went with this one based on the brand. I am not disappointed!

I was always told that Chi was a great flat iron. After my flat iron I had for 3 years broke, I decided to get a new one because that's something I can't go without. So I went and read reviews all over the web & was sold. The flat iron is a little more pricey than the average flat iron but it's so worth it. I have thick curly hair and while it used to take me about an hour to flat iron my hair bone straight, I'm able to cut that time in half with my Chi. And with the adjustment of the heat, I'm able to straighten my hair without worrying about damaging my curls. If you're looking for a flat iron, Chi is the way to go!

Great hair straightener. Heats up very fast as promised and makes my thick somewhat frizzy hair manageable!

I love this flat iron sooo much I purchased 2!!!. I am an African American and I have thick curly natural and this iron does the trick every time!!! to make the hair extra I highly recommend doing the comb chase method.....youtube how to do it

Bought this after I broke my old one. At first I didn't like it because I was used to my old Solia brand from folica. However the more I used it the more I liked it and have noticed that it keeps my hair straighter than my old one.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. What took her 30 minutes of warm up and another 20 or so to get her hair just right with her old one now only takes 5 minutes tops.

I've always heard of this brand and how amazing it is but I think it's definitely overpriced because although you crank up the heat it doesn't seem to get as hot to work with damp hair. You'd need to run it through your hair multiple times. Other than that it's pretty good.

My daughter and I both own one .. She has wavy hair and I have straight hair ... Multiple uses on different types of hair

I love this straightener! I was using another that was about the same price range, and hated it. It wouldn't stay hot so it took much longer to straighten my hair, and it didn't glide so smoothly like this one does. The Chi stays hot the entire time I'm using it, I don't have to slow down or stop if I don't want to, and it glides through my hair perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone!

granddaughter has had several irons..but says this is her "fav"....of course blue is her favorite color so that may have something to do with it.

Heavy duty hair straightener. My wife was going to purchase from a boutique store for $50 more than what I paid at Best Buy.

This was purchased to replace another Chi owned for many years. They are expensive but great devices.
