Customers are saying

Customers admire the fun gameplay and adorable amiibo figure in the Chibi-Robo Zip Lash bundle, often citing the game's affordability. While some found the level selection system unconventional and the controls needed adjustment, many enjoyed the game's overall fun factor, especially for younger players.

    Cool Figure, OK Game

I've only played a few hours of the game, but as a fan of platformer genre I came away a little disappointed. The action is a bit slow and the level progression mechanic is very odd (roulette). For kids I would recommend the game, for adults I would say you can find better options if you like action platformers. The characters are cute though, and the amiibo figure is great looking. Overall just an OK game.

First off the amiibo is adorable. The game itself is quite fun and the power up the amiibo gives you is neat as well.

I consider myself a big Chibi-Robo fan (as however many few of us there may be), and I absolutely adore the GameCube original; it's one of my favorite games. I was really excited that Chibi-Robo was going to get a new retail release, with an amiibo nonetheless! Unfortunately, my expectations weren't fully met. Don't get me wrong, this game is playable and decent, but there are glaring issues I have with it. Aside from the fact that it strays far away from what made the original game great, this edition feels like there's none of that charm. It feels very plain and boring, just another generic platformer starring my favorite little robot. One of the biggest complaints I have is the level/map system. There are about 6 worlds total, each world has 6 levels and a boss stage. That's a lot of content, however they create filler with the horrible luck-of-the-wheel panel at the end of every level. You basically have to roll dice to figure out what level you go to next, which is entirely unnecessary. It makes the entire game feel padded when it really doesn't need to be. It's hard for me to recommend this game as a Chibi-Robo fan to any other CR fans or anyone trying to get into the series. I would highly recommend the amiibo just from how adorable and great it looks; it's my new favorite amiibo! Here's hoping it has more use in a game aside from this one.

The game itself is a great side scroller. It is very enjoyable. The only pitfall is the level select wheel.

If you are into platformer games, then this is the one that I recomend. The music is superb but the only gripe that I have with this game is the sky and underwater level. The controls on those two stages are horrible. Also, the wheel system for picking stage is kinda unnecessary. You have to finish the whole stage if you want to come back to a particular stage. Other than that, it is a fan and decent game for everybody.

This game is a decent platformer from Nintendo. Chibi-Robo is super charming and provides a good level of entertainment throughout. The gameplay is relatively simple, but provides a lot of fun throughout. It's like a fusion of Bionic Commando and Castlevania as far as combat and navigation go, but it's a level-based structure. If you're a fan of Nintendo's recent platforming games, check this one out.

This Chibi-Robo game takes a departure from the original that may be disappointing for some, but ultimately succeeds as a unique platformer. Cute characters and bizarre situations definitely keep the charm of the original series, with plent of challenging levels. The Amiibo itself is very well done, the surface looks metallic like a real Chibi-Robo would be.

The game is getting 6.5 out of 10 ratings all over the net. It's a generic side scroller with lots of repetition. It's a decent time distraction that should take you 6-7 hours to complete. The Amiibo is amazing looking and worth the purchase alone. If you are a Gamer Zone member, then you get 20% off. No brainier at that price.

We collect Amiibos and this was the only way to pick up a Chibi Robo Amiibo in stores at release. Thr game itself is cute, it was far too difficult for my 7 year old daughter to play and my 10 year old son has also been struggling to beat certain levels. Overall it's a vute and fun game but it is a lot harder then it looks.

This game is very straight forward and kid friendly. Besides the return of chibi-robo, it does not bring any elements from past chibi-robo titles. The amiibo bundled with it is cool and collectible, but the game has very little thrill for a nintendo title.

    Adorable amiibo, solid game

Let's be honest, a lot of people are buying this bundle solely to get their hands on the amiibo. I can't even blame them, he's adorable and has become a favorite. The game itself is more divisive. Chibi Robo fans have been asking/begging for a sequel to the incredibly quirky and fun original game and to blunt: this ain't it. This is a handheld platformer that has very little in common with the fan favorite Gamecube game. That doesn't necessarily mean this game is terrible. Through and through it's a solid platformer with an incredibly adorable main character. The issue is that this isn't what fans wanted (and as we all know, fans tend to be very, very loud) and that there are some truly questionable design decisions in this game. For example: the level select is a baffling mini game where you practically play roulette to decide what level you go to next, including being forced to repeat levels you already played, until you finish the final stage and everything unlocks. You can tip the odds in your favor by using in game currency to purchase tiles for the level you want but...WHY? Who decided this was a good idea?! Here's some more: new concepts are introduced in a tutorial-like fashion and then only used once. The in-game currency system is very slim and feels underdeveloped. There's an absolutely awful submarine vehicle level that I never, ever want to even see videos of ever again. Unless you really, really want that amiibo I'd suggest waiting for a price drop on this one.
