Customers are saying

Customers admire the fun gameplay and adorable amiibo figure in the Chibi-Robo Zip Lash bundle, often citing the game's affordability. While some found the level selection system unconventional and the controls needed adjustment, many enjoyed the game's overall fun factor, especially for younger players.

Chibi Robo is a lesser known Nintendo franchise that deserves more renown. This is a fun little platformer, and the amiibo is very cute.

Not exactly similar to the first Chibi Robo that first came out on the Gamecube. This is 2d and a sidescroller as opposed to 3d. Apparently 3D, which would've made more sense because it came out for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, would've been too difficult for young children to enjoyably play. Because of that official Nintendo comment, one can assume this game isn't meant for older audiences to enjoy. I am 32 and this game is too easy and its apparent after reading Nintendo's comment to its own videogame. Can I enjoy it after playing previous ChibiRobo games? Yes, but only for awhile. Am I nostalgic for the older game and wish a similar approach were taken? Yes. Would I buy this again? Yes, but only if the amiibo came with the game. Would I recommend this to a friend who has never played Chibi Robo? Yes, only if they were no older than 12.

As of October 2015 this bundle is the only way to get this Amiibo. The game itself is a mediocre sidescrolling platformer, and most likely the last game in the franchise. My advice is to import the Amiibo and maybe pick up the Gamecube Chibi-Robo.

Game could be way better without one feature

I was excited to get this game because its a new take on the 2D platformer. The levels are all very similar to each other from what I've played and the levels are fun enough with a few collectibles in them. The feature that kills this game for me is the move wheel. After each level you have to spin a roulette wheel and that's how many levels you move ahead. You can pay to increase your odds of it only being one level at a time (like I want) but it takes time. I would like this game much more if I could finish one level and just start the next right away. This spin wheel adds a delay in between levels that can last a couple minutes and it just seems slow.

The amiibo is too cute. The game is sort of simple (in the vein of Kirby on 3ds) but unique enough to keep it entertaining.

For $40 you get the game and the amiibo. My kid loves this game and I've found it a little fun now and again.

Very fun, lad back game with plenty of puzzles. It reminds me most of a Kirby game I the puzzles and gameplay.

A fun game to play, but not without problems. (Annoying level select method, some stages not fun to play.) Fun for a bargain priced game. The amiibo is cool.

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this but it's a fun game with an interesting gameplay mechanic. You use the main characters plug as a grappling hook to deal with enemies and to navigate the level. The amiibo is pretty nice as well.

This game plays well but could be more fun. Plus, power ups don't carry over to other levels. Chibi Robo himself is charming as are the aliens and finding real world snacks is cool. Charming but not exciting.

It's a typical platformer. The electric cord is a neat little system to get used to, but it tells a story. Amiibo usage is a joke. The freemium feel is a let down, but it can be beaten without that stuff. It would have been better without either function.

This is my first Chibi-Robo game and I've had a lot of fun with it. I initially purchased this bundle to get the Chibi-Robo amiibo figure to add to my collection but the experience with the actual game itself was rather good. The music is great, the bosses look cool, and Chibi-Robo is pretty cute for a tiny robot. All in all, I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends and hope they continue to make more Chibi-Robo games.

The chibi robo amiibo looks as good as the rest of them but unfortunately has little functionality outside of this game. The game is decent but going up against some of the other platformers on 3ds, I'm not sure it would ever be a top choice.
