Wonderful! I mainly use it for cable. So instead of paying more for an additional a cable box, I use the Chromecast to access all the channels. Works pretty good since I bought it about a year ago, even with the other apps.

Works great and it looks great. Comes with controller so there is no need for a phone anymore. It does need its own power source unlike the older generations that could just be plugged into the back of the tv. Ordered it online and it was shipped/delivered by the next day!

This chromecast is exactly what Google needed to get ahead in the streaming space. Not only is it s chromecast, but the new look and speedy optimization of Google TV makes it my favorite way to stream content. I would gladly pay $200 for this service, but luckily, it's only $50!

It works really well and the OS is smooth and simple. I'm able to use my TV's remote (LG) with it as well, which means I don't have to juggle two remotes as often. Biggest issue I have is with the small internal storage. There are a lot of games that can be installed directly onto the Chromecast, but not nearly enough storage for them.

This is my second Chromecast with Google TV. I've had Fire stick ond Roku streaming. This one supports the services that I prefer and I've had no problems with connecting to their servers. Odd but Amazon Prime seems to run smoother on Google than a Fire stick.

Nice, easy to use, fast. Set up in less than 5 minutes, working good, zero issues. Good instructions, easy system. Voice search works flawlessly

very easy to install and easy to use. I have not tried connecting camera to it to make video calls but based on what i heard from others it was successful. google assistant not surprisingly understands all commends and you can control your house appliances from the remote.

Originally drawn to this as the cheapest streamer I could find that supports Dolby Vision. It works fairly well save for some caveats: 1) For some reason can never get the CNN Go app to work (though this seems to be a common issue). 2) While it seems to be resolved now, whenever using the Vudu app, it would always play my purchases as HDX rather than UHD. It seems there was an update which now allows Dolby Vision and UHD. But you'll need to do your research to see what apps support Dolby Vision on this device. I didn't take this into consideration when purchasing, and so I need to mix use between this and my Vizio TV's smart app to get Dolby Vision content. 3) I've had issues here and there with flickering when outputting at 4k 60hz. In some instances it wouldn't enable Dolby Vision unless I converted to 4k 30hz. Some of these issues were fixed upgrading my HDMI cables. But it sometimes flickers when connected directly to my Yamaha rx-v4a receiver. So just be aware of this if you're looking for 60hz. Overall, if you need the best quality streamer, you'll probably want to revert to Roku Ultra (I used Roku before and it's safe and dependable) or Apple TV. But for most other uses, this works pretty well considering it's only $50.

This is a fast, smooth, and beautiful streaming device. My only wish is that it had an Ethernet port so I can stream proper 4K content without having to worry about my WiFi being problematic.

Easy to use. Replaced my firestick with this. Have good channels and simple placement.

It's a nice product and a step up from the original chromecast experience, but it is not perfect. The interface is nice and the integration of programming recommendations on the home page from across multiple streaming services is a nice touch. Sometimes freezes or lags, which is likely a software issue they will work out, but it can be annoying.

I had the previous one and this one is an improvement. The remote small with just enough functionality. It's great for show and the like but I really love sharing my photos on the tv as the screensaver and re-living all our recent memories.

Loving it. A very easy and smooth set up, I was ready to explore everything it had to offer (and it has a lot to offer, including access to apps that don't require a paid subscription), within 15- 20 minutes after the setup. It turned my dumb TV into a smart TV.

Loved this device and really wanted it to work, but no AT&T TV app available. Great to set up, ties in everything Google. Again, it would be nice if Google and AT&T would grow up and play nice.

I have owned Roku’s and end having to replace either in a yr give or take and wanted a change. This chromecast run so smoothly. I am diggin it! I recommend it! It is so easy to navigate and add all your apps together.

I love it because the Google TV portion brings in all your streaming apps to one location. So much better than having to switch between your Amazon Fire Stick, Roku device, or any other attachment and using up multiple HDMI ports.

Easy to use and has everything all in one. Cut the cord this past year and this has been excellent, especially since it has all the apps right their. Only drawback is the remote will disconnect every once and a while. Liked it so much, we bought a second.

I have some gripes...but don't let those deter you. This is a great way to stream TV and "cut the cable." Others have written about the good points...let me just pick some nits for a moment. The remote is round and slippery. It has slipped from my hands and crashed to the ground while on the treadmill more than a few times. The user interface (UI) is confusing at times. That's because you stream with different apps from different providers (eg Netflix, Prime, YouTube TV, Paramount, Disney, etc). Each one has a slightly different set of reactions to the buttons. Sometimes I can join a program in progress recorded on their "DVR" other times I can go to the beginning. I can't figure this out. The back arrow seems to have a mind of its own. Maybe that's due to the way different apps respond to it. Integration with the Google Home app should be improved. I believe it is impossible to add a device to a "room." If you want a device in a "room" it appears that you have to set it up that way from the beginning.

voice controls for all my steaming apps all in 1 place... yes please. no problems and i love it, ordered more for the rest of my tv's. i love my smart home... voice control is awesome. really helps out my mom so she doesn't need remotes of to get up.
