After warching the first episode on YouTube (I don't have cable to watch on SyFy) I was hooked. The story picks up not long after the last film - Cult of Chucky(2017) -and gets incredibly insaner as the death count escalates! A lot of familiar faces pop up along the way, including Andy Barkley (Alex Vincent), the original owner of Chucky from the original film CHILD'S PLAY (1988)! It's also very nice to see the level of diversity present in this series! Definately Child's Play for a new generation as well as for fans of the film franchise. However, the 2019 reboot is completely ignored this time around.

This series started out developing a new cast and how Chucky gets into the house of a new kid starts up a whole new mess haha. The season follows a group of kids at a school and things start to go wrong around town. People are having to figure out mysterious deaths. Then it is revealed why. Good first season.

Excellent show, a return to form for OG chucky/Brad Doriff. This show is A LOT of fun to watch and a good fit for spooky season since it takes place around Halloween time. Season 2 is already green-lit so a great way to catch up is to buy this one now. Mine even came with a nice slip cover as well. Highly recommend any horror fan to make this purchase.

Entertaining continuation of the original “Child’s Play - Cult of Chucky” run. Has the same humor and inventiveness in kills that only the OG killer doll can do. This show does feature some LGBT elements, which don’t really overshadow the overarching story, but also gives some more interesting bits about not only the new cast, but also Chucky.

This show didn't seem to suck me in as quickly as I had hoped, but definitely gains its speed towards the end. The last few episodes alone really grabbed the CHUCKY fan in me, and made it a worthy addition to the CHUCKY legacy. Hope the 2nd season gets going and keeps it heading in this same direction.

I loved watching the first season of Chucky on SyFy last year. Waiting for the second season to premiere in the fall. In the meantime, I had to pick up a copy of the first season so that I can do a rewatch before the new season starts so I can refresh my memory on everything that happened.

While the Child’s Play films vary in quality (when good, they’re highly entertaining, when bad, they can be BAD), this series thankfully falls in the former category of quality. It has strong continuity with the film series, so it pays to be familiar with them. The PQ and AQ of this set is great, but I really wish they had done more special features. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I love the show. They did such a good job in her twining of the past aspects as well as a new storyline that you actually cared about. It was awesome that they had an LGBTQ aspect to it as well. Old fans won't be disappointed and new fans definitely will be entertained.

This show had me finally getting my evil Chucky back and I personally loved it. And the teenage characters were great and were actually played by real teens. Plus it had some great gay representation. I’m here for it
