This is how movies were made years ago. The picture was shot with great technology and the actors were top notch. Wish today movies were made the same way.

This movie is fantastic, and looks even more gorgeous in blu-ray. This movie was filmed before digital effects and looks absolutely stunning with its set, costumes, and great scenery.

Great sets, brilliant colors, and drama with some historical accuracy. They do not make epic films like this anymore and the movie is still highly entertaining over half a century later.

This film is notable because it comes out of Hollywood's Golden Age as a spectacularly stunning film. Now here it is on Blu-Ray to take advantage of the all the acting and setting spectacles.

Got this for my Mom for her birthday. She saw this movie when it first came out and use to tell us kids how she really like this movie. I thought it be great for her to have it on bluray. She loved it!

Liz Taylor is simply superb in this great reminder of when movies were epic but didn't need to include graphic s-x and filthy language to grab the imagination of movie goers. Harrison and Burton are, as always, outstanding in anything they do. If is were a tad shorter I would give it five stars.

This movie was made in my generation with a lot of extras and props on a grand scale. The actors Liz Taylor and Richard Burton were the two hottest names in the movie business. A great old movie and long.

If you don't need all the books and supplemental materials that come with the super-duper-deluxe version and just want to enjoy this great presentation of this movie, this is the way to go.

In spite of its length- around four hours- I appreciated the magnificence of its original grandeur and the high cost of production for those times! Only drawback was its length and sometimes monotonous pace. Enjoyable nonetheless, appreciating the work that went into it.

I had never seen Cleopatra and decided to buy it on a lark. I am very glad I did as it is an excellent movie and I am very happy I purchased it. I highly recommend it to others.

I love big production movies and have been waiting for the original Cleopatra to go on sale. Now I have my own copy and can enjoy it any time I want. Great movie - a real classic!

What an incredible picture from 1963, it is hard to believe that this film was actually filmed then. It had incredible picture quality! All of the vibrant colors popped in bluray!

This is the first movie I ever watched of Elizabeth Taylor. I was blown away by her beauty and the role she played in. It was a very long movie, but worth every minute of it!
