Those of us that work in retail can definitely appreciate the trials and tribulations of Dante, Randal, Jay & Silent Bob. Most of us have had many an interesting customer experience and of course Dante and Randal experiences are even more out there. If you are new to retail, do yourself a favor and check this out... and if you are not in retail, check it out anyway!

Kevin Smith's "Clerks" is a great movie for what it is considering the budget, the time (early 90s when HD cameras were not up to par) and for its subject matter. The problem is he's actually REGRESSED - with the exception of the great "Chasing Amy," Smith's writing has gotten progressively more puerile and downright embarrassing. I'm sure it's funny to the 13 year-old stoner crowd, but some of us would like a little more.

This was Kevin Smith's first movie which led to a long string of success including Mallrats, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks 2 and several others. He had limited funds for this project so he had to shoot it in Black and White,but the writing is outstanding and earned him great reviews.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO BE A NO BRAINER OF A MOVIE AND WAS TRULY SURPRISED. THE CHARACTERS WERE WELL WRITTEN AND HAD GREAT CHEMISTRY. THERE WAS A MATURITY THAT GREW IN THE CHARACTERS THAT NEVER HAPPENS. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS HUMAN ASPECT THAT CAME OUT IN THE END. A HIDDEN TREASURE FOR ALL.

Even though I don't usually care for black and white films, this one was done in an interesting way. Made to look like it is filmed threw the security cameras of the store. It is funny and launched several main stays in the Kevin smith movie world. Jay and silent bob for instance. Worth watching. The sequel is done as a more traditional film.

Kevin Smith is the creator of some of my favorite films of my adolescence and the independent scene. Clerks is still incredible as his debut film. Can’t recommend enough!

With Clerks, Mr. Smith proved that pretty much anyone can make a feature length film. Better yet, this one holds up! Even better is that the blu ray is crammed with extras that give you an enormous look into how the movie got made. I'd recommend it for the extras alone.

It’s crazy to see how far Kevin Smith has come with his “View Askewniverse”. Hope he still continues it for another 20 years!

Always been a fan of Kevin Smith. The Clerks 15th anniversary Blu-Ray has a lot of good special features, including the original uncut Clerks and the making of Jay and Silent Bob. Strike Back. A must for anyone who wants to complete their View Askew collection.

Kevin Smith's first foray into a feature film and made on a shoestring budget. This version of the movie is packed with bonus features that any true fan would enjoy. The price is also just right if you have been putting off adding it to your library.

I have always loved the movie Clerks as I worked in a gas station/convenience store for many years and could relate to this movie. I'm excited to have this movie in HD, it looks as great as ever and I recommend it for all the fans of Clerks.

Watching Dogma brought me to this when i was a kid and its been one of my favorite comedies since then.

THIS MOVIE WAS A DELIBERATE TRANSGRESSION ON WHAT WE THINK SHOULD BE IN A MOVIE. IT IS AHEAD OF ITS TIME TO THINK A MAIN CHARACTER CAN CREATE A STORYLINE BY JUST BEING HIMSELF. HE ACTUALLY MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT BEING A HUMAN BEING.

This is what Put Kevin Smith On the Map. Dante and Randle are awesome together. The Dialog written by Kevin Smith puts the two characters in a great place. Awesome chemistry between the actors. all arounf great comedy of this generation.

I love silent Bob and Jay and their funny shenanigans. Silent Bob is so funny without even having to say a word . Jay is hilarious . Get this movie ppl your comedy collection is incomplete without this film.

I've seen this movie more times than I can count. Upgrading to a new format was worth it just for the bonus features.

Kevin Smith is great. Clerks was just the start of so many great movies of his.

Entertaining. And hilarious. Film is grainy black and white but what do you expect from a low budget film. Dante, Jay and Silent Bob are great comedic actors. This is a must see if you like comedy.

I first saw this movie when it was new and it immediately became a favorite. This edition has some nice adds and will fit nicely into my movie collection replacing a tired DVD.

If you ever had a job that you hate you could relate to this movie and fill Dante and all the weirdness that have to chill on a day when he's not even supposed to be at work
