I loved the idea of a new fitness modality that challenged my entire body. The CLMBR delivered. It is unlike any fitness equipment I have tried (Treadmill, Rower, Spin Bike, etc..). You can absolutely destroy yourself with 10 minutes of work. It’s worth reviewing this product in two segments. First being the installation and then the actual use of the product. Installation - I had read a few reviews and was honestly a bit wary of the installation process. As noted above it is NOT a Treadmill, Rower or Spin Bike and installation is different. Few helpful tips based on my installation. The recommended Pro Tools to install will save you (and your fingers!) lots of time. Well worth it. Second, utilize the updated hardware kit guide. It matches the assembly guide (i.e., bolt AA goes into part L, etc..). Step 25 in the assembly guide gave me the most challenge. Few things that helped with this step: used a hammer to gently tap to bolt into place as this bolt starts threading at the far end. This helped get the bolt into place so I could start threading. Finally, it doesn't specifically call it out, but once you have fully assembled the product there are two cotter pins at the top of each upright that prevent the handles and steps from moving. Removing them (see image) allows the unit to glide as intended. They must use them for transporting. Function - Wow. The actual workout can be very challenging. It can also be very mild if you need. There is a huge range of flexibility depending on your fitness journey. I have not been able to make it through all the content yet, but the interface is user friendly an easy to navigate. The pattern of movement here may take a little to master. Also love the fact that it is zero impact and don't need hours of repetition to feel that I'm really working. Looking forward to putting it to work this new year!

I was billed for a membership when the directions explicitly stated I would not. The machine itself feels solid and it’s a good workout. The machine is big but I was able to give it a corner.

Belt failed. See pictures. Multiple similar posts online. Not built to last. Broke after 2 months of light use. Within the first year has to be serviced by manufacturer and geek squad warranty cannot be used. Now it’s going to be weeks for a new one. Good concept and great exercise. Get the Versaclimber. 30-40% of workouts, the videos stop working.

I don't get it. It was a task to be put together. After 2 days of agonize work. I was hoping to work out but to my dismay I was meet with holes that were a struggle to align, the tv for me the biggest let down, without the paid subscription it's a screen. It's useeless, why have me connect to a network if all your going to show me is a black screen. Updates did not do anything. Download the app to connect my device. Pointless I think I am still awaiting the email to be sent to me. Blue tooth settings useless. I gave this 3 star because after spending money it's set-up. The resistants daily is cool but I could not tell. But others did. I will hopefully not have to get the paid subscription but I will have to. Darth vader lifestyle. I hope with the paid subscription it will be better. ill use it everyday until the next great thing.

I purchased my CLMBR at Christmas but was reluctant due to the mixed reviews. I downloaded the BUILT app that other reviewers commented on so I could determine how difficult the assembly would be. I was surprised to see that it appeared to be rather simple. Once the machine was delivered, I opened the box and as another person commented in a review, the assembly instructions were not in the box, only the “Quick Start Guide” in a clear plastic bag. The assembly went well however the left upright did not function as smoothly as it should, but it still worked. Once assembled I opened the bag with the “quick start guide” and surprisingly the assembly instructions were behind the quick start guide. Before contacting customer service regarding the left upright I completed the assembly to make sure there were no other outstanding issues. Except for the left upright not functioning smoothly, the assembly was easy, the resistance settings work fine and the WIFI connection worked well (no buffering/freezing). I spoke to customer service they have addressed the issue and now the left upright/machine is functioning smoothly. I must say, the CLMBR experience with no center support and viewing the classes on the large screen is great. I have only had it for a couple of months, but it appears to be made well and it is certainly sturdy. My experience has been great and would recommend CLMBR.

Amazing workout, poor manufacturing and software! Installation was about 90% complete when two screw holes did not line up. They were off just enough to make the threads not go in. So frustrating after two hours of assembly. Had to drill one of the holes bigger to allow for the bolt to be installed. All holes should be lined up from the factory on this expensive of a machine. After the frustration of assembly, I hopped on the machine and did my first workout. LOVED IT! Probably one of the best exercises I’ve ever done in a short amount of time. the next day I turn on the display and notice there are no videos to select. Weird! Checked the Wi-Fi multiple times and it was still good, restarted the system. All to no luck. One of the restarts ends in an android recovery screen! So the software is built upon android and is in serious need to debugging. The machine was now worthless to me. No customer support number to call and I wasn’t going to wait on an email. Returned. I’ll be looking at other options. Love this style of workout, hate the software and manufacturing defects!

I was a little hesitant on ordering this based on the reviews, but I’ve been watching the clmbr for the past year and couldn’t pass up the price. I was able to put it together myself and it took about an hour (36yo female and I’m pretty petite, I would definitely have someone help you lift it though. It is heavy). I used the BILT app, there are directions on the front of the box where they have updated part numbers that you need if you’re using BILT app. It was pretty simple to put together between BILT and paper directions. I did have trouble with the tablet after the first day, I called the clmbr number and the person was very helpful and got me in touch with a programmer and I haven’t had an issue since.

I had the product for almost two weeks and my wife and I have used it every day. We've found installation to be only mildly irritating. We had it together in about 2-3 hours, with the actual product being incredible. I've been getting phenomenal workouts daily. I've found the content really exceptional, and the quality of the equipment to be fantastic. We've had no issues with the use of the CLMBR, nor have we noted any premature wear to the device as some reviewers have mentioned. All-in-all I've found the CLMBR to be one of the best workouts I've ever done.

Please do not waste your money on this machine as it continuously freezes and does not work. I have argued with Customer Service to have our machine replaced and they continually just blame it on our Wi-Fi network. we have a wifi router in our gym. We also own a Tonal which works perfectly and we love. We are past the return point because we have “troubleshoot it for too long quote and we have completely wasted thousands of dollars. please dont purchase this scam. Not only does it freeze for hours you cannot even turn it off unless you unplug it.

Would love to give this a high rating but I can’t even put it together. The provided screws do not match what is listed on the packaging. The screws to install the monitor don’t thread all the way through. I’ve wasted a few fours trying to wiggle the rod with no luck.

After reading some poor reviewes we decided to return.

Assembled the unit and started the screen up. Went through all the appropriate steps setting up the app and connecting the unit to the app. After all this I was probably about 3 hours deep ( with assembly) so then I went into manual mode and tried the unit out for 3 min. Everything worked fine unitl.... the next day I started the unit up and the unit went to "getting the latest" screen and gets stuck on this screen no matter what I do resetting and restarting the device. Will call support on Monday but after a quick google search there seems to be a large quantity of units with issue. If the manufactuerer helps get this thing working find I will update the review and change the rating.

rating is purely based on my experience and not using the clmbr. ordered on 12/13 and purchased totaltech for free delivery and installation. delivered on 12/21 but i was not confident in the install company since this was their first clmbr installation and no instruction manual included in box. they used the video on clmbr site and installed it to the best of their ability. i immediately noticed that the pedals had no support and contacted clmbr for help. clmbr said they will take over support and hired a different set of people that came over on 1/11. they couldnt fix the problem and said equipment was defective. so now waiting feburary for bestbuy to uninstall and pick up.

Not a review of the CLMBR machine itself. Paid for the TotalTech membership for machine assembly but Best Buy failed to arrange assembly on multiple occasions. Then the next available assembly date provided was one month out. Decided to return the machine and so cannot comment anything about the machine itself.

Somebody said they would be there to assemble it and install it first time they canceled the day of an hour before they were supposed to be there second time somebody showed up for about 5 minutes said they didn't know how to put it together and they would have somebody else come third time never heard from anybody nobody showed up so her month and a half later haven't heard anything or still sits in the box

Would not buy it again no instructions to put it together you have to download a app then the holes don’t line up

Too bulky and not worth it. Very difficult to exercise and really put unneccesaary pain in your knees

This is a fantastic exercise machine that is modern as well. Gives a whole body workout and is lead by engaging and informative instructors. We hit a few software snags, but I’m very happy that the company answered the phone right away and provided a resolution quickly.
