I bought these to be able to communicate with my husband while he is at work 19 miles away. I cant. Even though it says 25 miles.so that bummed me out. So i havent been able to really use them.

I DID NOT USE THIS ITEM YET WAITING FOR A TRIP TO USE IT

bought for a specific trip and ended up not using as much as I expected but still worked well.

So happy with this purchase....granddaugher loves them.

We purchased the 2-way radios for communication between vehicles while traveling north. The radios worked well through out our three day trip.

Great for surveillance work on a budget. Just walked into the store, and a couple of hours later it worked like a charm.

These were supposed to be a 25 mile radius. I lost connection with my friend after 2 city block... THESE ARE A JOKE!

when talking to people this walkie talkie is good and enjoy it havent test out how long the distance the walkie talkie can go yet.

Cobra is a good brand for two way radios. No problem with the signal and performance. Happy with my purchase.

mile range is like fuel range...if everything is perfect, aligned and the gods are with you - you should get half of what they claim

We purchased these to replace a pair that would not last very long on a charge and didn't have great reception. So far we love these walkie talkies.

I used these radios for when I went snowboarding, they worked great on the smaller mountains but when I went to the larger ones there was an issue with reception.

These weren't great. The range was minimal car to car. Maybe a couple hundred yards. Hard to understand even after trying different channels. Still indispensable being able to talk between cars on a long trip

Wouldn’t even work half a mile away. Set it up private and tested it in the house and it was fine. Drove to the community center in my complex and tested it out and nothing. We switched to a different channel and still nothing. Came back home and it did work so it wasn’t an issue with channels but distance. Seems pointless to spend that amount for it only to work in the house. I could buy cheap kid toy ones for that. I returned it the next day.

I bought these for work and they do exactly what I need. Can't go wrong with Cobra. Always been happy with their products.

Does not through simple walls! Basement to upstairs no signal. This is designed for 100% backyard with no trees.
