Had trouble with brand new high quality Lexar cards. Would not recycle old files to keep recording. Saved files are not sorted, just have a file name variant, very inconvenient. I prefer adhesive mounts in case there is an accident, the cam won't fall off on impact and potentially compromise valuable footage. IT MUST BE SAID THE VIDEO SOFTWARE THEY PROVIDE IS SPECTACULAR! I did not like the product but the software gets 7 stars. I drive more than 1000 miles per week and pull at least 3 files per week. I did a side by side with cheap rexing for 2 weeks and both were returned to get the high end Rexing. Positives include the mount. If you have an incident to capture outside the current frame, cam can be easily twisted left or right to get a better view.

I like this camera a lot! Great picture, good sound and back camera just great! I've had dash cams for about 8 years now, some good some not really good, some bad. This is a good one!

Installed easy and the video looks great with playback on my computer when there is enough light. The video is OK with low light but it does a pretty good job relative to the cost of the unit. You could spend a lot more for a more advanced unit with 2 cameras.

Installed easily, recorded easily. Looks great BUT IT DIED IN ONE DAY. Tried charging it. Removed from charger. Plugged into computer. Its stuck with the RED LIGHT ON. Will do nothing will not respond to anything that I do. SO frustrated. Hate having to bring stuff back. DO NOT BUY THIS DASH CAM DO NOT BUY THIS DASH CAM DO NOT BUY THIS DASH CAM. I should have listened when I saw the other bad reviews.

I had another dual cam setup and had the same problem. I suspect that the micro coax and plug/sockets aren't durable enough to survive the temperature extremes or any kind of tension. I have to unplug the connector and plug back in, reboot unit to get it to work for a while. The front unit works well but should lose the brushed metal bezel. I painted mine flat black.

Works pretty well but tends to lock up and needs to be unplugged until the battery dies when it gets warm. Also the extension cable for the aft cam had Pin alignment issues and won't work out of the box. Could overlook these things at a lower price point

Easy setup right out of the package. Didn't bother with professional installation, so I do have wires just tucked into side of console running to rear camera. Love the dual display of front and rear.

Installed in my 2011 Ford F-350 crew cab. Easy install. Was a little concerned about some of the problems encounter in other reviews about camera not working. Have used it for 4 weeks flawlessly. Wired it to one of my aux uplifter switches. Plenty of wire to mount the camera at the rear of the cab. Like the idea of the 2 camera recording although the rear camera could have better resolution and night vision as was mentioned. Have used Cobra products over the years and have found them to be high quality products and dependable. Could probably have bought a lesser known brand for a few bucks cheaper but always like to buy things in the store when possible to look at it first hand

I bought this dual camera Cobra (CDR 895D) dash cam especially for the motion record feature. Both camera's shoot great clear quality video. The problem with this model is that it cannot take the heat build up in our cars while sitting under the warm sun. I worked with the flaws of this unit for a year. Anything from the screen crashing with a bunch of green lines, to it constantly loosing connection to the rear camera, until it finally stopped recording. It wouldn't respond to the reset button on the bottom that I had to always use to clear the faults. It had the most recent firmware update. Bottom line is this unit has parts inside that can't take the heat. That's why on their website they boast about having a new unit that can withstand the heat. If you buy this model, you better buy an extended warranty!

Does a great job. Plenty of cable for the rear camera. I put mine in a full size ford and still had extra. I do wish the screen was bigger. That's the only reason I gave it four stars

We use this to record our adventures on our UTV in the VT woods. It takes great video, the suction cup holds through being bounced around a lot and it shoots through our plastic windshield without distorting the image.

This is a great dash cam and fairly easy to use. Great picture quality and great price. Very easy to set up. The camera's pretty straight forward and would make a great gift.

The Cobra is easy to install, easy to set up and use, and easy to connect to a computer to show great video from the front and rear view cameras. Great product and price.

Great dash cam for my wife's car. Both the front dash cam and the rear window cam have excellent wide view pictures. Easy set up and easy to use. 720 to 1080 make the pictures and video a great quality.

Great camera for the price. Put this in my jeep. Only issues is once in a while camera does not come on and have to either cycle the key or hit the reset button. Other than that like the set up

This is a very good dash cam. The reason for the 3 star rating? Because it's hard to almost impossible to hide the thick cable connectors. I had to return it, and got the F800 as a replacement. So far so good

Ok. I thought back and front camera for $200 would be great. The front camera is good. The back camera kind of sucks. The video is not clear and well.....I wish it was as clear as the front camera. Also, I just had it installed last week and already the front camera started a eternal flickering process. I took at the plug and eventually it turned off. I plugged it back in and it was fine. ? Not good. I will be showing Mike and Rob a video I took of it flickering this Thursday.
