Used these radios during a cruise with my kids. Excellent product to keep track of everybody when their all over the ship. Remarkable range, channel options, and you don't have to worry about them not working when wet as well. Very professional radio.

My husband has a serious brain injury and has memory loss. For his saftey I purchased the radios to be able to check on him when he walks the dog many times a day. Many times I could tell how tired he was because of the clear reception and was able to pick him up before he became overheated. He has walked as far as a mile from our house in heavily wooded area and could still talk to him clearly. Thanks to this product my husband walks safely every day.

great design, great quality, great looks, can't beat it, great range

We bought these for a recent cruise. On previous cruises we had seen families use these with much success. Usually it is just the wife and I, but on our most recent cruise, our son wanted to take his, then, girlfriend, now finance, with and propose to her on the ship. We love her already, so couldn't say no. These worked great when we got separated on the ship as well as taking them on the excursions with us. They are multi-channel which was nice, because we weren't the only ones on the ship using them. This summer we will try them out on the lake as well as we are a multiple watercraft family also. One pontoon boat, one fishing boat and two jet skis. These should help keep tabs on everyone or will leave one at camp so quests can holler when they show up.

WE tested them out in the yard and they worked very well. We also tested them while we were in the car. My son took one and we had one. Worked very well, were very clear and had good range. We purchased them to use when we go camping.

Bought these puppies to use while on jet ski when I go out with family members and we go separate ways. Ive also used it for the weather channels and at home between floors. Overall its solid, range isnt as advertised but stills works for.my needs across a lake which is a good mile,. Its floats in water and handles it.good. when it gets drenched wish it had blutooth and or a 3.5 mill jack. I tried a 2.5 mill BlackBerry headset and didnt work must be a special jack they have to make u buy the cobra headset, kinda a bummer. Overall I'm satisfied with it.

you communicate well long range to communicate good reception .

Very sturdy. As advertised. We thought volume was fine contrary to others. We would buy again.

These Cobra radios were listed as "37 miles" distance (mountain top to mountain top). When we were on mountain tops, we could communicate with the less expensive "10 mile" midland radios, but not the Cobras. When we were closer, both worked. Not really sure why. Ergonomically these are bigger and boxier than most walkie talkies. Not real pleasant to hold. On the upside, they have a built in flashlight, are water proof, and the bright color makes them easy to spot in a messy truck or in a tent. I would recommend purchasing less expensive walkie talkies if you do not need the features offered by these.

These radios have all of the features most people are looking for, range, channels, battery life, visibility, but the low speaker volume makes all of this unusable.

In my suburban neighborhood they worked about 2 miles. Also had some difficulty with charging them. Overall might not be worth the price.

Works very well a friend an I tested how long they reached an while driving on the interstate had about 1 mile between us adv had no problem talking to each other.

Range where I live is around one mile, Maybe 35 in the desert or on the water..

We really enjoyed the walkie talkies, no interference, great sound quality.

I have not had the opportunity to try these radios to their full claims. However, everything appears to be working well.

And even better clarity. Highly recommended. Built solidly, but I have yet to fully submerge them in water; this, I am unsure as to their claim that they are both waterproof and can float.

Bought these to take on a cruise. Yes they work anywhere, in any country. Glad they are multi-channel as apparently we weren't the only one with this idea. Also picked up some transmissions from the ships radio, which was very interesting.

After long comparison I got these and they have been great! Especially love the playback function!

I gave these to my husband for float trips. We have an eight and three year old and they both seem to work them easily. We have not tried if they float or are waterproof, but they are clear.
