I love this camera. It has very clear picture and playback

I was very happy with my new product but unfortunately now it times out at 6 seconds or doesn’t record at all

I would have liked a feature for it to record if the car was off and it gets hit while parked.

Pretty cool, i needed it as a backup cam but the screen was too small for that, orher than that it was a neat piece of tech

The dashcam continually turns off after one hour of driving even with a 256mb memory card added. The downloadable application is not very good either.

Customer service at Cedar Electronics was very slow to respond to my function and settings questions. I've contacted them a few times because this dash cam overheats to the point I thought it would catch fire. I took it in the house on a cool evening and put the thermometer on it, it was 110 degrees. It starts to overheat within ten minites of turning it on, it gets too hot to touch. Cedar team said it won't catch on fire, that it would turn off first. It now turns off and won't turn on again until it cools off. It is doing this in 50 degree, rainy weather. I paid for Best Buy install, added the interior cam, paid a lot for the camera and install. Wish I had not bought it. Now I'll find out if my Best Buy extra warranty will pay! Don't buy this expensive, HARD TO SET UP PROGRAMMING, overheating camera.

I bought this because it has the option for parking mode, which requires a separate purchase of an OBDII power adapter. When plugged in this way, the device will restart with the engine auto stop, and often times it will not turn back on until you unplug the device for a minute or two. I've only needed to retrieve a video from this camera once, but the video I needed is corrupted on both the front and rear video files, so I am unable to view it. It also stops the recording for much longer than it needs to in order to delete old videos.

Bought Dec 30th, 2021. It's now June 15th 2022 and still can't get the app to work correctly. The sc400d is a piece of garbage. I have spent about 25hrs on this dash cam and on the phone with Cobra customer service with no luck and no hope for this. iphone 11 pro max must not be compatible with the app.

Easy to install and worked immediately. It works well.

Decent dash cam, nice having the option of a cabin and rearview camera to add on. I wish the picture was a bit better for the money. I still would recomend this product as its a premium build and the app isnt that bad as alot of reviewers say.

l paid a little more that I wanted to, but I'm glad I did. I had the geek squad install it hard wired and they did a great job. They even down loaded the app and entered pertinent information that was required. It works perfectly.

Dual back and front recording is excellent when I'm patrolling at night and daytime. it records videos I like my Cobra a lot

Great quality dashcam. Just make sure that when you’re setting up the rear cam to put it in a clear spot that is in the path of the rear window wiper or else when it snows its useless.
