It records just fine, but you can never get the data out. It connects over Wifi, but it's "not really" connected, as nothing recognizes it. I've tried 2 different dashcams with 2 different phones and 2 different computers, and none of them connect. What's worse, is Cobra's website even says this device has trouble connecting with some phones. I'm very disappointed because I bought a name brand, a fairly pricey and versatile model, it's impressive to look at and handle, but the complements stop there.

I did have it professionally installed. Also, isn’t working the way its supposed to work.

With the dashcam unit, they had ordered a new one. Cause Rear camera was not working because of the dashcam unit was defective now. My dashcam unit powering on and off. For about 20 minutes. I took a 2 minute video of a powering on and off. I noticed that this morning at about 2 o'clock this morning going into work. Expensive camera not Worth it.

Over selling employee best buy

I went to best buy to purchase a dashcam and installed.. after the sell things went south . Cedar Hill store. First no installer today. 400.00 dashcam. Had to wait found out the dashcam couldn't be installed in my car kia sorento 2024 took . Got refund
