Yes, the artstyle is kind of cheesy, and it's best not too think too hard about the story, but if you get past all that, this is a fun and rather deep strategy game.

Good game. I bought it as a gift for a friend and she loved it. I would make the purchase again for others in the future.

This is a fun turn based RPG. The issue is the UI/perspective of the game since it is not a top down overview so each level requires more patience than necessary.

Bought this game for my son. Thought is was called Code Name Steve, so you can imagine the chuckles I got from the Best Buy employee I asked. He is really enjoying this game. He said many people might overlook this one because it doesn't have a catchy cover design, but it is worth the time.

Weird, I could swear I already had written a review on the game... anyway, it is sad some people feel betrayed by the artwork of this game, and because it is seen as "complex" by them. It may not be Fire Emblem but it is sad they do not give this game the love it deserves. Best Buy usually has it at a cheap price, cheaper for Gamer's Club members.

Set in an alternate time line you play as a group of soldiers in London fighting aliens. The game plays like Fire Emblem but behind the shoulder view and you have modern weapons. The game has a very comic book look to it, which is very cool. I recommend giving this a try if you liked Advanced Wars or Fire Emblem.

Loved playing it for myself, as well as the amiibo functionality. I especially like the theme around steam punk era and game play involved.

The patch has made this game much more playable. Faster turns = good! Not quite up to Fire Emblem levels, but fun nonetheless.

Great turn taking strategy game. Only downside is that you have to watch the computer take its turn which can be quite tedious.

Don't let the long times in-between rounds turn you off this is a fun strategy game!

This game isn't for everyone. Its hard, occasionally annoying and sometimes unfair. That being said, if the idea of the game was at all interesting to you do yourself a favor and pick it up. Most of the reviews of it available are unfair so its really just a call you should make for yourself. Give the demo a try in the eShop. If you're a fan of a challenge and a good strategy game then buy it.

Steam is a adventure strategy game that you have to jump in to truly get the feel of it. It is more Nintendo unique fun.

Great mechanics and colorful characters from American literature. Requires some patience and thought before taking shots at the enemy. It bears some similarities to Valkyria Chronicles but ultimately finds its own identity in the end.
