While looking for games for Christmas gifts, I stumbled upon this. Since it’s for a gift it’s of course not open, but I can’t wait to give it to my nephew, and see what he thinks about it.

The update ro speed up enemy turns makes this game so much better.

Checked the review before buying and decided to give it a try. It is a great game. But personally, I don't like the art style of it but for gameplay, it is a 8/10 game I think. If you like STG, try it, you won't regret.

Imagine X-COM, Valkyria Chronicles, and Advance Wars had a baby and it came out as a great polished game with tons of content packed into a little cartridge and you've got a good grasp of what's ahead of you.

Code S.T.E.A.M. is a tactical third person shooter from the same developer of Fire Emblem. You move your until to stop the aliens, position your troops on the right place to get an advantage will keeping an eye to your steam level. It has online play and special event from Nintendo.

Not personally a fan of the art style or steampunk aesthetic, but the game is very fun. It's a strategy game with a little bit of action involved very reminiscent of games like Valkyria Chronicles.

A really fun tactical/strategy rpg. Waiting for enemies to complete their turns can get repetitive, but Nintendo is releasing an update soon to let you fast forward through their turns.

I was hyped that this game would be good. But it was not what I expected. It is one of case where the big N wanted to create a franchise, but did not quite work. I remember being heavily promoted on game stores and print media.

This game has an interesting concept, historical figures mixed with steam punk, mixed with aliens. Haven't finished the game yet, but it's a pretty good game, not the best, and not the worst. The update to speed up the enemies turn definitely helped.

It's always nice to come across a game that is both original and fun. Easy to pick up and play yet challenging enough for 40+ year old self and young child to both enjoy!

Very good game from the developers of Advance Wars and Fire Emblem. Simple to get into, but very hard to master as there's a lot of strategy involved in the game.

Code Name: Steam is an underrated game that was never given much of a chance. The speed patch fixed up the game quite a bit and the characters are quite enjoyable. The levels and the bosses also feel different every time.

It was a five star game, but the presence of Wil Wheton tarnishes everything. He is anthropomorphic cancer. His presence means I cannot recommend this to a friend.

It's a really fun strategy game, I played the demo at launch and it was a little glitchy but, it seems things have been patched up and plays really well now.

I guess I've just played more entertaining strategy games and had too high of hopes, but this just didn't do it for me. If it weren't for the hype I had built, I literally would have liked this more. Death to hype!

Weird premise, but it gets to be second-nature pretty quickly. The level of customization and strategical combinations that can take place is astounding!

I wasn't sure what to expect at first because I had ZERO clue what this game was - after looking it up it's a turn based strategy game and it's comparable to a 3rd party style Fire Emblem type of gameplay. I was so excited when the price dropped so I could purchase this! Super fun and totally worth the money - sale price or regular.
