This movie is made for hi-def view. The battle sequences look incredible (especially the one in the dock) and the sound is remarkable. The amount of detail that is potrayed on the screen in this edition is unbelievable; you can actually see Laurence Fishburne spitting while he is making his speech to Zion and you can see smoke coming from the smoking sign in the opening sequence with Trinity running on the rooftops. The special features are definitly worth a watch as you can see how scenes were shot to make it look the way it did on camera. If you are a fan of the Matrix Trilogy this is certainly worth the money.

HD-DVD players are the bridging technology between regular and HD-DVD formats. Go and get it while it still avaialble, its no brainer, if you wanted to play all your existing dvds in higher and richer format in your new HD-tvs. Its so sad the Toshiba drop off the format race, leaving Sony to monopoly the industry. Iam sure HD-DVD format will be taken over by someone (microsoft?) or the OpenSource community.

You can never say good points about matrix enough! The three movies are the best of best to sci fi movie fans. We do not need to say how the actors and actress performed in the movie, the plot of an imaganiation master piece worthy every dollars I spent on the movies

If you like the Matrix's and you like High def then this trilogy is the only way to go!! The picture is unlike anything you've seen! The sound on my 7.1 surround sound is absolutely captivating! Matrix fans, you gotta have this!

For the movie buff, action buff, sci-fi buff, this is the must have set for your personal collection. You probably already own the regular DVDs but this set is way above and beyond. Own it, buy it, go get it now (smile).

These films were made to be in Hi Def. HD dvd rules as you can sit back and get immersed even more into these films. This set is a must have !!!!

Not at all a fan of the two sequels, I still would recommend this reasonably priced boxset to die hard fans of the trilogy.
