Datalink was part of a package with Viper Remote Start and Security system. It was easy to figure out if this system could be installed in my vehicle, because the Datalink is so universal. The remote start system works great! I can start it from within a building fairly far away. On cold wintery days this is so very nice.

Standard product used by installers for remote start of my truck. I don't know the difference between all them, but this seems to be doing every thing its suppose to doing. I have not had time to research everything this Bypass Module does. The main purpose of bypassing security system of keys that have transponder in them you have to have one to have remote start. My remote start works fine match with the viper security system, used it a couple times so far, I will be using it a lot more this winter to warm truck from inside the house. So far works fine, only installed for about 2 months now.

This module is a requirement on most security/remote start systems. Works flawless

This is my 3rd Viper purchase. I love the brand. Purchased the model 4806V because I had it in my last car and am very happy with it. It has fantastic range from the remote. Best Buy once again did a great install. This time I also purchased the module so I can use the starter from my cell phone. I live in Minnesota, so a dependable remote starter is a must have.

I own a 1998 Ford Explorer that I am slowly reconditioning. The adding of this system allows my auto greater security, not to mention being able to start the car from inside your home

I bought this together with the viper product for the remote starter for my 08 Chevy Silverado. Its been about 5 weeks and it works good. Had geek squad install the product.

All I needed to get my Ford Fusion 2016 remote starting. It enables my existing remote key to start the car by pressing lock 3 times. The range is great.

I love this I have the push to start car. This starts my car with no problems and still keep my car save. I would recommend the geek squad install

We had an excellent install & advise from Best Buy Mobile for my remote start. This was just one part that I needed for the remote installation on my new RAV4. The installer told me because of the car's technology, I didn't need all the items I purchased and that an alternative part would do the trick for $100 less and it would be a 2 way rather than a 1 way system. How can you argue about paying less for better? I took his advice and everything works great and I'm so glad I got the two way instead. I have never been happier with Best Buy!

This works great! My only issue is that when the car is remote started, the door is unlocked. This is a safety/security issue, even ithough the car is turned off at that time when someone opens the door.

Works well for the price. Using the cars own remote is a plus. Doors must be unlocked to start the car. Sounds bad. Unlocked car for remote start for someone to get into and dirve away.

Purchased a remote start for my daughters 2011 Honda Accord and this was a required part. Works great and would recommend it.

Datalink was easy to program and worked as desired. If purchasing to used with a directed electronics or Viper car alarm you need the USB adapter to change the firmware from the iDatalink website. The box doesn't come with the small accessory and had to buy the small USB dongle from Crutchfield since Best Buy didn't offer it. Just be aware. Everything else went smoothly.

This works great for my girlfriends car. Start it from inside the house, lock, unlocks, panic button. It's great.

I need this part inorder to get a Viper car alarm to work with my 04 Silverado. My alarm is working great so far.

Does exactly what it suppose to do. Works as good as the factory units for a lot less.
