Good product comes complete with everything included and uses the factory remote. It DOES disable the proximity sensor once the vehicle is started so you have to unlock the doors with the remote after remotely starting it. Also you have to triple press the lock button with like perfect timing not too fast and not too slow to start it so a little getting used to

I would not wast my time on this product. Due to recent upgrades on the Volkswagen Jetta they have to use your extra key for the remote start to function. Unfortunately this was not disclosed to me until after installation. Now I only have one key for my car! Installer was also not very knowledgeable about install and left my vehicle improperly functioning. Called the hotline for the manufacturer and spoke to a tech that walked me through reprogramming the accessories on the car including the windows. If I had it to do again, I would wait u til they have the proper updates so I still had two keys.

Installed on my wife’s ‘13 VW convertible beetle turbo 2-3 seasons ago. Best Buy installed and did great work! Has always started without a problem! Is awesome for New England winters. Would by again and have Best Buy install.

This product works fantastic. I have a 2012 jetta and ales my car feel like it’s up to date for 10 years old

Great system. It works very well with no quirks. I especially love the ability to start the car from a distance far enough that it takes the chill out of the car by the time I reach it.

Happy with not losing a key to utilize the product. Product works as described but unlocking the car with key proximity doesn't work, need to use remote. Have found that there are cases where the car shuts off when put into gear. Overall, happy with having a warm car on cold mornings.

Installed on my 2015 Jetta TDI push button start ; didn’t loose a key. Programmed factory key (3 times lock) to start the engine. Instead by geek squad in about 2 hours. Very pleased with this purchase (400$)

Got another remote start kit as a Christmas gift but it would not work with my vehicles command module so I got this one and it has been great!! Kept both my keys and did not need to add another fob. Great product.

Works as well as a new product should.just installed recently ..time will tell..all of the compustar product have worked well in the past. A little bit pricey due to VW

This product is great but for $400 i wish I would work from farther away without having to pay 100$ extra to get a second remote to extend the distance.

This appears to have everything needed to get going, the tech was great up front and wouldn't imagine anything less once product is completely installed!

I am using this from almost a year now, only problem i feel it never turn on the car seat heat .
