the out side of the product is all plastic cheep looking (e.g. node). However, it does what it says. Both warm steam and cool mist works fine. Warm steam is little more to the hot side. Cool mist is just like my frog humidifier IF ONLY want COOL mist, AND IF you already have humidifier, may be you can save the money just use that. ----------------------------------------------------------- Solution to no warm/hot steam at second use. Also, a lot of people complained that the second time, there is no warm/hot steam. Ya, I get that too. I though it is broken. I checked the water level, it is high, I add more water and it is above the MAX level. After hours, that I can't figure out why there is a lot of water, the back of the Therapy Facial Sauna is very hot, but still no warm/hot steam. I finally decided to dump the water in the Therapy Facial Sauna, and repeat the steps over. Now I solve the problem. The solution: Therapy Facial Sauna has two water storage, one for hot steam and one for cold mist. The water storage for hot steam is like tube, that you need to twist the cap off. Another water storage for cold mist is what you see after remove the cover. The instruction, says, remove the cap and put water in hot steam. The water will automatically distribute to these two storage. IMPORTANT -- If the water in the warm water storage is dry, the water in the cold mist water storage will not go back into the hot steam water storage. WHAT you MUST do every time at beginning of the Therapy Facial Sauna is dump all the water out, and fill the new water into the hot water storage (after removing the cap)

This steamer is great. It gets hot quick, is user friendly and worth the price. Drape a towel over your head and your face will be soaked by the time you are done. It's a Conair product with a Conair price so do not expect high quality vapoderm craftsmanship. I look forward to using this every time.

I've been looking for a facial sauna for a while, this is the only one I came across with cool mist. I could only locate it at one other store other than Best Buy, but I bought it here because it was on sale. The product works great, It just feels like the time goes by fast, after putting water in the channels and waiting for the steam to heat up, you also have to use a towel to keep the steam around your face, I feel like I would of gotten the same effect with steaming water and a towel over the stove. The effect is not like being in a sauna or sweating, the water drips off your face and gets warm slightly, pores don't seem like they open up, you just have to do it a long time and keep the steam contained, the steam does however get very hot.

Before buying this product, there were a lot of so-so reviews but I took a chance and bought it anyways. It's a good product if you have the time to use it. There are various time intervals and I typically like using the longest interval for the biggest effect. The cold steam isn't too too cold and the hot steam is nice - not humid and sweaty. It's a great mix.

I chose this particular one because I read after you "steam" you are to follow up with cold to close the pores. This one works great and very easy to use. I add a towel over my head for extra steam! Great Buy :)

Warm steam helps with extractions. I like that it has the cool mist feature to close my pores when I'm done. Works well and serves its purpose. Just make sure & read all the instructions before using.

It very easy to used and clean my face very nice .

Works well and steam gets hot. Set-up can be a bit tricky as the water goes in differently for the steam setting vs. the cool spritz setting. I've only used the steam setting. Steam is definitely hot but I do not feel like your entire face gets steamed unless you move positions. Also, it can be a bit nerve racking to hear the water boil rapidly so close to your face.

I use this once a week. I use it for 10 minutes on hot and 10 minutes on cold. leaves face really smooth.

It takes a little while to warm up but works well.

This is a great steamer. It is great for everyday pampering. I initially purchased it when I had the flu to open my sinuses up in my face. You will not regret this purchase.

Hot/Cold steam is cool feature. I use it for my allergies. My eyes get very puffy quick 5 mins, . Before a 30 minute hot shower was needed.

It didnt get heat up quickly. Even after 20 mins there was mild steam with highest setting. It didn't work as mentioned in the description. Cool mist was also not so effective. I returned the product and I am still looking for a better sauna.

While buying this machine I though more then what it deliver.:(
