It's a great cooking game that cook even work as a recipe book! I love this game is good for people who love to cook like kids. The graphic is absolutely adorable and cute. With more character and recipes than the first game. All the food seems so real that it looks delicious. I would be playing it over and over again nonstop with new recipe unlocked everytime. You can have a choice of cooking with Mama or her family and Friends. You can even decorate Mama by changing her clothes and accessories, plus you can even change the background. If it was up to me I would make it the best entertainment of the year, with easy direction on each step while cooking. Kids will love this game as much as I did! I recommend this game to all kids and some adults as well. Anyone can learn to cook!

This game is very fun. If you liked the first cooking mama i recomend it. Although, it has some of the same recipes as the first game but it also is different in many ways. Mama even has a voice now! The voice is kind of weird but, I think kids will be interested to hear it and maybe even enjoy it. I love this game, it has so many recipes!

I absolutely fell in love with the first Cooking Mama for DS so when I saw that there was a new one out I was absolutely thrilled. I went home and immediately started playing. My first thought when I turned on the game was that it was hard to read. The screen is all rainbow and intense so it's hard to read the words. This is a game that you pretty much only play with your stylus and never bother with the buttons. On the old cooking mama you could just touch anywhere on the screen to skip the long, annoying "very well done" messages but on this one you specifically have to click the OK button which is really little. Inconvenient for the player who just wants a little quick entertainment and has been playing forever and already knows they did a great job. I really like the new features thought some of them were a little difficult to get used to after playing the old game. Overall it's more realistic and a little more challenging. The best thing about this game is that there is quite a bit more to do. I beat the first cooking mama in about an hour but I've been going at this one for quite a while now and I'm not even near being done or being bored yet.

I love this game. It's got a cute concept and is easy enough to play. It also has several different ways to play the game - you can cook with "Mama", cook for Mama or her friends, and as you progress through recipes, you unlock new ones. Lots of fun!

I could not wait to purchase this game and before I could get much into it, my husband took over!! He absolutely loves playing it and has mastered a few of the recipes, but there are so, so many recipes still to make. There are alot of bonus features to this game that aren't on the first Cooking Mama game: 1. You can change Mama's clothes and accessories 2. You can choose color schemes for your kitchen utensils 3. You can cook for several characters, not just mama 4. You can change the kitchen decor 5. You can earn bonus prizes Even if you don't enjoy cooking in your own kitchen, you will have a blast with this game!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter and out of all the games I wrapped, she loved this one the best. She told me it really does help her to learn basic cooking skills and how to combine ingredients to make something 'yummy'.

My grand daughter really liked this game. She said it was even better than the original Cooking Mama. She said Mama's friends will judge your kitchen creations & you can also create 80 new recipes.

This game is very fun and some of the recipes are challenging but very enjoyable. If you liked the first Cooking Mama, you will definitely like this one.

This is a great game. I think it could actually teach you how to cook! Haha, I'm not kidding.

I've been waiting for this to come out for quite some time and it was better than I ever could have imagined! Cooking Mama is just such a simple and interesting concept for a DS game that anyone can play, you can't help but like it! I recommend this game for people of all ages and genders. :) Good times!

Cooking mama 2 is definitely an upgrade of Cooking mama. More techniques, MORE food, and best not just asian food but other cultures as well. Very fun game and it gets addicting!
