I recently purchased the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo 120mm CPU Cooling Fan with Gen 2 RGB Lighting, and I'm extremely pleased with its performance. The cooling efficiency is top-notch, keeping my CPU temperatures impressively low even during heavy workloads. The Gen 2 RGB lighting adds a vibrant and customizable aesthetic to my rig, enhancing the overall look. Installation was straightforward, and the build quality is exceptional. The fan operates quietly, delivering efficient cooling without unnecessary noise. Cooler Master has truly delivered a stellar product with the Hyper 212 Halo, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enhance both performance and aesthetics in their PC setup.

STOP! dont scroll past this, who really reads reviews especially with something this cheap? well you are if you kept reading, and honestly the price point is what sets this cooler apart, because after all it is simply a cooler right? well it is, i mean literally its a radiator and a fan (a singular fan), but that dosnt mean it cant cool, i did try this thing out stock and to be honest i was super irritated trying to put this thing in, you have to change the mounts instead of it just being a generic system, and the mount for the fan are pretty much the same as if you were to bend a paperclip and paint it, that aside this cooler is worth it compared to others, i am switching from an MSI MAG liquid watercooler due to clogging issues with the tube and debris (yeah its an AIO they recalled some (not mine) and they still have that issue) and i am very impressed with how well it actually cools, even stock but when i put a push pull (one fan blowing in, one out (follow the arrows on the fan) this little beast actually outperforms my old watercooler even when it was in its prime, more impressive is the fact that there is no actual set mounting pieces for the fans so you can quite literally put any kind of fan or fans you want on it, it does come with thermal paste, which normally i would not use and would substitute it for thermogrizzly but i gave it a change and well heck its pretty dang decent, i also like that the radiator is black so it goes with my case even with new fans, with the watercooler (not in any extreme temps usually 68-74F (20-23C) i was getting cpu temps of 149-176 (65-80C) and when it started to clog enough to thermothrottle and shut my whole system down (my poor cpu) but with this im seeing temps in the 118-138F (48-59C. Honestly if youre looking for an efficient cooler here it is, if you want something that dosnt waste too much space and dosnt cover your ram here it is. if you want a cooler that has fancy screens, lots of lights, a bunch of flash, and mad customization look elsewhere, this is your utilitarian solution to a market oversaturated with fluff. oh and sorry about all the parenthesis

I got this as a temporary stand-in cooler for my 13900k because my 360 AIO had to be RMA’d. Works great for this CPU under average user workloads and even 4k gaming. 100c throttling will take place after about 2 minutes of a steady 180+ watt load which most people won’t experience regularly. While louder than my AIO, it was respectively quiet even at the fan’s maximum 2050 rpm and I would not hesistate using this in a noise sensitive environment. I was planning on returning after my replacement, AIO arrived, but the hyper 212 performed so well, and exceeded my expectations to the point of me, keeping it as a permanent backup. At $42 on sale, this cooler should be sufficient for 90% of PC users and gamers.

I already typed this every once but of course Best Buy can't manage to load a image with our deleting a 100+ word review for literally and absolutely no reason; nothing to do with this product but I'm not being thoughtful again after having my time wasted. Buy this cooler but not from best buy probably.

For the price, this is the best hands down. Easy to install and keeps the temps down even during gaming. My AIO died and was going to get another, but after watching reviews on the newer air coolers, this was a no brainer.

Exactly what I needed. Nice that it came with the LGA 1700 CPU fan mount and extra thermal paste. It took a moment to figure out the clamps that attach to the heatsink and fan, but overall, it looks amazing and keeps my CPU cool. I highly recommend this affordable upgrade over any stock CPU fan.

Very quiet fan that keeps my PC cool. Great to see that this is working until I can upgrade to water cooling in the future. I love how the RGB syncs with the rest of my lights.

Slapped it onto a Ryzen 7500F and it idles at like 28C using the included thermal paste, As old as these coolers are they somehow still manage to redesign and keep selling them. I think these things initially came out in like 2012 and yet they keep on chugging along and keep on working. This new iteration has RGB....Fancy.

This cooler looks really nice, its affordable, and it even comes with a tube of thermal paste. At $40, this was a good purchase, just make sure it will fit your case. My CPU temps are nice and cool

I would never have believed this little cooler could keep my 9950X3D chip as cool as it did. Playing intensive games it only hit the thermal throttle limit on a few occasions. Easy to install

Works great without hiccups.
Rgb is perfectly colorful and the price was great. Cooled my 9800x3d just fine until I got the correct bracket for my liquid cooler in the mail

Great for an air cooler. I have used this for a setup cooler on I dont know how many cpus. Never fails to cool throughout the initial setup part of building a system. I have used several of these in builds and they have never let me down.
