The movie has very good depth of field. The picture is very colorful. The 3D is good ,but nothing like the movie Avitar. Nothing in your face 3D like the ferns come off the screen as in the movie Avitar. .As I said the depth is real good.

I bought this movie because my son enjoyed it over at a friends house when he spent the night, I watched it with him and enjoyed it very much and I'm a 47 year old male. A great film for the entire family to watch together.

I remember the hype when this movie first came out. I never got around to watching it until now. I honestly thought it was boring and slow. I prefer other Laika movies like ParaNorman and The Boxtrolls.

I wouldn't recommend this title to any person. We had a problem with the DVD playing at times it froze. I do think this movie is okay for the price and for families to add to there collections.

Being honest, my daughter really likes this movie. I don't care for it. I bought it for her. I would recommend it only for a 12 yr old girl. :)
