The TCL - 55" Class - LED - 6 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR Roku TV should be called a “rock you” TV. We opted for the 6 series since our living room has skylights and very large windows. The 96 point contrast sensitivity is worth the higher price since colors remain vibrant no matter what the ambient light condition. The Roku interface is, as advertised, easy as pie to navigate. If you are also cable connected (Xfinity, etc), you are able to power on to cable channel without switching remotes (hallelujah). The option is nested a bit but easily done in network settings. Very minor quibbles: —only one USB port. Not a game changer and it’s possible, some say, to use a hub if needed. — Roku doesn’t have available browser (at least not for free). If you are desperate to surf the web, you can do it on your phone and mirror the screen to the TV easily. Typing on-screen is lame anyway, so no loss here. If you are more than 8 feet from the TV and don’t have 20/20 vision, 55” (or more) is the way to go. Easily readable. Settings for personal preferences are easily accessible and if you have OCD, you can tweak even more settings. Picture quality and color are well described in other reviews. Sound is more than adequate for basic use. I’d also recommend Roku phone app since the BestBuy models don’t sell with microphone enabled (advanced) version of remote. Just use the phone app and you can voice command. I plan to enable Alexa control at some point as well. This is a solid product at a very decent price. You will not regret the purchase.

I purchased these ram sticks this morning in an attempt to speed up my sluggish mid-2012 Mac-book Pro. I spent several hours yesterday clearing up space, updating, and doing literally everything possible to avoid having to spend money on hardware (even basically setting it up as a new laptop). Don't get me wrong, these things definitely helped but it was still a disappointing experience waiting for things to load and seeing the beach ball constantly spinning. 4 GB of ram just isn't enough. So I did a little research and decided that the reviews on this product were so solid that I might as well give it a try. Let me tell you I couldn't be happier. Installation was a piece of cake (thanks to the fact that I have an older version- be sure to check the specs of your computer to make sure this product is compatible) and it quickly started back up and voila- speedy, responsive, and so much more pleasurable to use. I tend to use several programs at once, including garage band. If I run into any issues with that I may upgrade to 16 GB in the future.

Cheap, Fast Way to Speed Up Your Mac

I bought a MacBook Pro in 2012 and from the get go, the computer was painfully slow. The dread beach all appeared if I had more than a few things open and opening most apps took minutes. Numerous visits to the Apple Store had me turning up empty handed. I was about to write off Apple completely as my MacBook has next to nothing on it and that performance was unacceptable. I saw this on sale and thought I’d give it a go. My computer came with 4GB from the factory. Wow. Night and day. The computer is fast, responsive, and like brand new. Before you spend the money upgrading to an SSD drive, try upgrading your RAM. It took maybe five minutes and I wish I would have done this years ago.

I took a chance buying this memory as I'm not a big fan of Corsair memory. I used it in PC's over the years and didn't have the best experience with it. It looks like Corsair memory in iMac's works much better! I installed this memory in my iMac and so far there have been no issues. The iMac responds and performs much better now. The price was also reasonable, which made the decision to take another chance on Corsair that much easier to make. Overall the product performs very well and I'm happy I made the purchase.

Works in my Gateway NE56 Laptop at 1.2 volts

I bought this in hopes that my Gateway NE56 laptop would take it. The older laptop uses DDR 1600 1.35 volt memory but I thought this 1.2 volt memory might work as everything else is the same. As the price was very, very, good it was worth the chance. The RAM is labelled as for 'Macs' but now I use it in my old upgraded laptop and it works great and my memory in the laptop is maxed out. I do not use the laptop that much so there is no point in buying a new one. My desktop does the heavy lifting.

I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro that would take forever to load every program. A little bit of online searching led me to this. Had it installed 10 mins after I got home from the store. Very easy install after watching a video tutorial. You will need some special screwdrivers to get the back cover off though (not included). My MacBook is running smoothly now and I wish I had upgraded my ram sooner. If your older MacBook Pro is slow, don’t hesitate to pick this up.

Excellent product and easy to install. As a matter fact, it is so easy that even a caveman can do this. After spending some time on YouTube to diagnose the problem I was having with my Mac, it ended up being a memory issue. I went to Best Buy.com, saw this money saving to pack, purchased it and installed it myself. No more memory issues. My computer skills are probably less than that of a caveman and I could do this. You can too. Good luck.

When we bought our new iMac we asked the “geek” salesman for the ram upgrade as Best Buy only offers 8Gb in all of their iMacs. The “geek” retrieved this and assured us it was the proper ram. Uh..No this is DDR3 and the new iMacs take DDR4. We didn’t catch this until we got home. Thanks for the extra trip Best Buy. Do your research before you shop at Best Buy, the “geeks” have no idea. They don’t even carry the ram to upgrade to 16 Gb in the store.

I bought these memory kits to go from 4GB to 8GB. This way the machine while a little older could still run some of the newer software and would not be a slow as before. True the processor is still old, but this machine is now resorting to doing the basics stuff, WORD, EXCEL (from MS package) and EMAIL. No Internet stuff really. So far still working well and no problems. Easy to install as well.

Great upgrade from original 4 GB in my 2009 MBP

I have a mid-2009 15" MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM. I noticed that I was routinely running with less than 1 GB free, and noticed paging when I started a virtual machine or loaded a large program like iPhoto or Lightroom. Since the upgrade my virtual machines and the larger programs start faster. The performance increase was not as noticeable as moving to an SSD drive, but the RAM upgrade was less than 25% of the cost of a new SSD.

We've been stocking up on Best Buy gift cards because our Mac was painfully slow and our intention was to buy a new one. One day I did a search for slow Mac and found out it could be a lack of memory. I doubled the memory with this purchase and the computer acts like it’s brand new! We couldn’t be happier, but now we have to figure out what to buy with all of those gift cards.

I'm sure it works but not for Mid 2009 5,4

I've read in reviews that it works and it's also a match for the right type of memory. It fits just fine but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't so it's not compatible for Macbook pro mid 2009 even though it's the same specs. Unless I just got some bad memory. I'm returning. As I said. The memory might be just fine but just incompatible. So I'll give 3 stars as I'm not sure 100% what issue is.

    Corsair Memory for MacBook Pro

I was not sure from all the reviews both good and fair if the Corsair memory was the right choice for my Mac. I took the chance to upgrade and bought 8 megs for my MacBook Pro. I let Best Buy install the memory and they did a great job. The memory upgrade went from 4 to 8 megs and was easily recognized by the computer. Mac works faster already. Will definitely buy from this company again!

Corsair? Or Crucial? To be quite frankly I haven’t really seen a difference. If it was Crucial’s I probably would’ve been more excited that Best Buy had it, and sold it. However this brand name has not disappoint. In fact that it has not failed is reason enough to buy again. Price Wise!!

This 2x4 SoDIMM DDR3 memory kit by Corsair has proven to be a good buy: it has noticeably sped up operations on the computer, and we could not be happier about that. We tried other brands, and they caused either the BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) or did not let the computer even boot up at all. We can thank our local Geek Squad Agent for this recommendation. This Corsair DDR3 RAM was the right memory.

My son had a mid 2010 macpro laptop and was complaining about being sluggish. Quick look at Apple support showed how to upgrade Ram from existing 2gb to 4gb..took literally 5 min after finding the ram modules at Best Buy... he can actually run a couple of applications at the same time now. This should hold him until he can actually spring for a iMac desk top with 16gb ram.

This was easy to install. I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012 and this memory kit worked great. Now my MacBook Pro is a lot more faster and there isn't that lag/hesitation when loading when I'm using Safari (with multiple tabs open) or being on Youtube. I would recommend this for anyone looking for more RAM on their MacBook Pro.

Was the perfect tv for my satisfaction. I never had done this review in my entire life but I decided to search before i buy it. To my surprise whatever decision I made was the best one and when I got to bestbuy I ask ask the sales person what he would think about five tv's I pointed that he will choose. He chose the three that I had my mind on it.

My 2011 MacBook pro was getting slower after new software updates but lately it started taking so much time in opening a new tab in the browser. I was planning to sell it and even put an ad on craiglist. But then I found this RAM, I thought to give it a try and....my mac is working as when it was new. Must buy for upgrading your mac.

I doubled my MacBook Pro's RAM from 4GB to 8GB to combat the growing number of ads that accompany almost every internet page. Now I can surf the web faster and avoid the infamous "beach ball" effect while waiting for a page to download!
