Perfect upgrade for new gaming system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The power supply came with plenty of cable connections and the major 20 + 4 power and mobo cable are non modular. Those cables are required anyway. That will limit any unnecessary power consumption due to resistance through another connector. It has a huge fan and is as heavy as a cement brick. It was replacing my 320 Watt supply. It was bigger and required relocating a fan from the top of my X-Infinity case. It is so quiet at boot up time and once my build is complete, I'm looking forward to eventually going to a crossfire system. The power supply has been solid since installed, and came with more cables and connectors than I required. Each modular cable is able to hook-up 4 components. I only have 1 HD and 2 DVD RW extra to support. Would have went with the Gamers Series for the extra LED lighting but the performance and online ratings sold me. I absolutely loved that all the cables I needed came in a convenient bag that I still use to put all my remaining cables in. It's quiet and runs efficiently!
