Customers are saying

Customers admire the CHAMPION SERIES SABRE PRO's lightweight design and responsiveness, praising its accuracy and comfortable shape for extended use. However, some users find the lack of RGB lighting and the somewhat slippery plastic casing to be drawbacks. The included cable and customizable DPI settings also receive positive feedback.

This is a pretty basic mouse but I have had no issues with it and use it regularly! For an inexpensive mouse it is great and would recommend!

The mouse is decent and works well with gaming. I am not a corded mouse fan, but my son seems to like it and has no complaints.

Corsairs new mouse is a mixed bag

I'm a Corsair guy, nearly everything in my computer or attached to it is Corsair. I just bought a lot of their iCue fans for example (and those aren't cheap) so I really love Corsair. I'm not so sure about this new mouse though, it's definitely got some pros and cons. On the pro side it seems accurate and has a really nice way to change DPI and it's located on the bottom of the mouse so you won't accidentally hit it. The mouse itself has a nice look and is easy to setup by using the drivers (Windows did not recognize it until I installed the drivers, just a note). The mouse also has a really nice braided cord that is plenty long enough no matter where you are using the thing. It also has a really quality feel and feels nice and light (so if you like a heavier mouse you may want to pass on this one). The scroll wheel is also superb, it rolls easily and accurately. On the cons side, I don't like the fact it has no RGB, but I know for some folks that will be a plus. I also would like it if the mouse could work wireless as well as wired. And I really don't like the fact this mouse will not work in BIOS/UEFI at all. I had to fire up a cheap, wireless $20 Logitech mouse to do my UEFI settings. But all in all it depends upon what you're looking for in a mouse. For perhaps a competitive gamer (which I'm not, I just want a good gaming mouse) this would likely be a definite buy, and I suppose that's who it's geared towards so that makes sense. But casual gamers should likely look elsewhere for better value. And more RGB :)

Amazing for the price. My son had a gaming mouse but this one came with his new Corsair keyboard. He is selling his other mouse because this one simply outperforms his previous one and he loves the feel of it, He did have a brief issue with trying to get certain buttons to work for a few games but after messing with drivers and software, all is well. So I am deducting a star for ease of use. Though it seems fairly plug and play.

Pretty Good Gaming Mouse All Around

So I have used many gaming mouses in my day, and was excited to see the Corsair Sabre PRO being re done. I tested this mouse with Warzone, WoW and other games and it does a good job at each game. The latency is basically 0, the polling speed is superb if you have a gaming computer that can handle it (why would you not if you are getting this mouse?), and the software features are nifty. However, there are some issues I have with this mouse. 1. It is pretty big. Not in weight, it is very lightweight, but the body of the mouse is big. If you have small hands, it will be uncomfortable for you. This was designed for larger hands it seems like, it is longer than other gaming mouses I have had which takes getting used to. 2. The iCUE software can be very buggy. Sometimes on launching Windows, the software will fail to load which means your custom DPI adjustments are not going to work (software mode) until that launches. Yeah they have hardware mode, but then you have to turn the mouse upside down and press the DPI button. 3. The DPI button is in an odd spot. I have had other mouses where it is on top of the mouse for easy on the fly adjustments, but Corsair put this one on the bottom of the mouse, which makes it very hard for "on the fly" adjustments as Corsair states. 4. NO RGB :( But there are still plenty of good things about this mouse that make it worth 4 stars. The weight, the accuracy, the customizable settings in ICUE (when it works), the ease of clicking with low bounce back and a low profile for accurate shots and mouse points, the high polling rate. This is not a gaming mouse if you are wanting one with RGB, lots of buttons for macros and what not, this is definitely designed for the PRO in mind.

Impressed, changed my view on gaming mice

The most important thing to note upfront on the Corsair Sabre Pro mouse is its light. Corsair state this weights 69g which I believe. It took me a little getting used to, as I typically prefer mice with a bit of weight. I will say, even though it's light it doesn't feel cheap. The buttons have great tactile feedback (Omron switches) and the glide is super smooth. The cord is something I was super impressed with, it's a nylon paracord and moves quickly on my desk and doesn't tangle. This is a non-RGB mouse, so there are no lights other than on the bottom where there's also a switch to switch between DPI settings, up to 3200 DPI. It seems odd Corsair put the DPI switch on the underside of the mouse. Although, the Corsair iCue software does let you do this with software - so you don't have to use the buttons. Custom button mapping, macros, etc. is easy with the iCue software and I'm personally a fan of Corsair for this reason - their software is easy, reliable, and just works compared to other manufacturers. Speaking of the iCue software, it has something I have never seen before which is surface/mousepad/desk calibration. It takes just a few seconds but I did notice a difference in gameplay... which gets to the most important test of all, how does it work in games? I tested in a few rounds of Overwatch and am impressed, super fast and responsive, key mapping worked a treat. The lightweight of the Sabre Pro didn't bother me at all, in fact, I found I was faster and better than previously (especially as a healer). I'm sold and also convinced a lightweight mouse is much better than my previous bias for weighted mice. The only reason I am deducting 1 star is the DPI setting underneath the mouse which still strikes me as odd...

Another example of “you get what you pay for”. I’m not impressed with this mouse… nor am I disappointed. At the price point, it’s a pretty good mouse for casual gaming and browsing. It does feel cheap, but that’s okay, because it was cheap. The button clicks and response are decent. Again, not bad for the price. If you want a high end gaming mouse then you’ll have to pay for one… this is not that.
