I upgraded my power supply to allow me to upgrade my video card. Everything works fine now.

Corsair one of the more reliable brands in the computer world. Especially in gaming circles. But don't waste your money on this high wattage power supply if you just need a replacement for your typical desktop PC. This power supply is for high-end PC gaming rigs.

I bought this fan for my son who built a custom desktop. He needed just a bit more cooling for what he's added inside over the past couple years. This fan has made a huge difference, lowering the internal temp about 30 degrees. He's thrilled. A very good buy.

I purchased this power supply for a new i7 4GHz custom PC build. This unit is very quiet and it has plenty of wattage to power my motherboard, SSD drives and graphics card with power to spare for future upgrades (bridged graphics cards, PCIe cards, etc.

My new video card required more power. I already had a Corsair HX series power supply but did not have enough watts for the new video card. I have had no issues with my old power supply for the past 5 years and expect the same out of this one.

had one issue from the start. the power supply needs plenty of space to stay cool. I'm satisfied after I corrected that problem.

Large wattage power supply for computer. Was the only one in store that was over 500 watts.

Does what it needs to do. Needed an immediate upgrade from 600W to power a recent purchase of a Gigabyte Gaming 3 MOBO that didn't have the GTX 1070 attached to it yet...

If you plan on having a power hungry rig, whether it be AMD powered rig, multiple graphics, what be it, this power supply will suit your needs at a reasonable price.

if you think you can find a better 850w psu for the same or lower price ... then take a closer look at this one. it doesn't get any better for the price and quality.

Not first choice, but the 850 ended up working quite well for only a few bucks more and Geek squad installed so didn't have to wait on ordering the 650.

We needed more powerful power unit and this one fulfilled the need. The replacement was rather easy, and the unit works error free for many weeks now.

Awesome!!! Removable cables make installation a breeze! Only use what you need so installation looks clean and no unnecessary wires blocking airflow!

Corsair makes decent pc equipment but I hate paying for a name. I have a previous power supply (750) that has worked for a year without any problems. My one beef is although they advertise this as a modular power supply, it's not a full modular power supply. The main power feeds are NOT modular.
