850 watt power supply not much to be excited about. It's done it's job for the last 2 months so far no complaints.

I purchased my first corsair psu a few months ago. It died after 3 weeks. I returned to Best Buy for exchange and got a replacement with no problem. 9 days later, the second one died. Wondering then, obviously, if my pc was at fault, I had it checked out. Everything was fine with all the connections and other hardware. Returned to Best Buy to exchange again, only to be told they could no longer exchange this product, I must go through the manufacturer. I left disappointed and contacted Corsair. They said I must have gotten unlucky with a couple of "bad" batches..... week and a half later, I received my 3rd psu. Been using it now for about 2 weeks. Hope this one has no issues in the future. I've read that Corsair makes good psu's, but if this one fails, I'll just accept my losses and go with another manufacturer. (And never buy another Corsair product again)

I purchased this as an upgrade from an 8 year old PSU. While this meets my needs with decent overhead, for the price there are a lot of better options out there.

I purchased this power supply. I specialize in hardware and configuration. I have previously been employed by Geek Squad. This power supply failed within a week. I was disappointed and have purchased another brand. This was my second power supply by Corsair and both have failed while in warranty. Would not recommend.

Pros: -Easy and simply install -Clean design that only requires users to use the necessary amount of cables for their computer -Easy cable management experience -Silent fan Cons: -Difficult to securely connect 24-pin power connector to motherboard

I'm not new to building and upgrading PCs. This Power Supply is Huge and Heavy. Be warned, if you're mounting it on a tower case, make sure A) you have the necessary clearances internally - it barely fit in the tower I was upgrading and I had to do a bit of shoehorning with some really messy cable management, and B) make sure you use quality screws and really mount it securely. If the screws on this fail, gravity will kick in and whatever is below this PSU will get crushed. I had to look twice at the shipping notice that said a 9lbs package was on it's way to me. It's not kidding. This thing is HEAVY. Other than that, seems to work just fine. I had to upgrade a very underpowered system (300W OEM) because they were getting a discrete Graphics card that would pull 150W by itself. Probably a 600W would have been enough, but this gives them a bit of margin in case something else comes along.

great power supply, very quiet, and it is semi modular. makes the computer look "clean"

Had it for a couple of weeks now and it works like a charm running a Sapphire r9 390 8gb of ddr3 ram Intel i7 Some old asus atx mobo And a wd hdd and an ssd for os and some small games

(correcting my earlier post - posted for the wrong purchase, LOL) I bought this power supply for my son who built his custom desktop. He needed just a bit more power for what he's added inside recently. It has made a huge difference, powering everything with absolutely no issues, more than enough power. He's thrilled. A very good buy. Would definitely purchase again, and for myself.

My previous power supply burned out, so I replaced it with this one. The package said it's able to withstand much more power than my old one, and it's working for me so far without as much as a hiccup or complaint. Power supplies are relatively straightforward and not very exciting, but this is a good one.
