Excellent wireless mouse for ones with wider grip

The whole reason I went with this mouse is be"ause it has a plate on both the left AND right sides. The right side is magnetic and can be replaced with the included flush plate. I use a wide claw grip and my ring and pinkie finger tend tobdrag along the mousepad and gets annoying. I LOVE the right side plate, but even if you dont care for the extra plate, it is an excellent wireless mouse. The side buttons are large and easy to press with soft switches. It has 3 DPI settings that can be customized. I dont really care for the RGB, but it can be turned off. Overall, I hope they keep making this model for a long time as I will probably get another one when I eventually wear this one out.

an excellent large and heavy gaming mouse

I wanted a mouse that could play wired or wireless. This one works great either way. I like the large size for my little bit big hands. I also like the scroll wheel that has well defined clicks in its rotation. The left and right buttons have the right feel. What I really like are the wings on both sides of the mouse. On other mice my fingers tend to drag on the mouse pad but the wings maintain smooth operation. Weight is on the heavy side and I like that too. These have gone up in price since I bought mine.

I've had this mouse for a little over two years now. I use it many times a week if not daily. In all of that time I have not had so much as one issue with this product. I use it for both gaming and as a daily mouse and it works great for both. I notice no issues using it wired or not. The iCUE software could be more intuitive and less clunky for sure but all the tools I wanted were there once I got the hang of it. It has a larger size so the fit to my hand is perfect, I can use it for hours with no discomfort. Overall I would recommend this product to gamers and not alike.

This is a exceptional mouse. If you have a bunch of Corsair products. This one is a no brainer. The RGB on this mouse is industry leading. The mouse is very responsive and I have never had any issues with it. I love how I can switch from my gaming pc to my MacBook Pro using bluetooth or the dongle. If you have multiple devices this is a perfect mouse. The only thing I wish they had was a scroll wheel like the infinity wheel on Logitech mice. Other than that this is a solid mouse and the Slipstream dongle it comes with is also a plus because you can setup multiple compatible wireless Corsair devices using one Slipstream dongle. I would definitely recommend!

My old mouse, Logitech G602 stopped working about a month back so I needed a new gaming mouse, I settled on the Dark Core - which also happens to be my first Corsair mouse; It has been excellent, I love the RGB and the fact that I can charge it instead of buying batteries every so often; One last thing, and I don't know if it is my eyes playing tricks on me, but it seems like since I have had this mouse, my gaming feels and looks noticeably smoother, in particular with Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online. Great purchase, I don't regret it, if you don't feel like spending $100+ for a mouse, this is definitely the way to go. **Side note - I have fairly large, not huge, hands and this fits me perfectly, just something to note if you consider this mouse.**

Mouse seems sturdy, comfortable, good weight, a few programmable buttons, programmable DPI, and good battery life.
One thing to notice is, if you want to use the mouse through bluetooth like me, I'm pretty sure Corsair's software (iCue) does not recognize the device, hence it doesn't work with the configs you set up there. But if you use the onboard memory for configs, it runs fine. If you're going to be really tweaking the DPI configs and profiles for different games, etc, you will need to go wireless (with the USB dongle) or wired.

This was purchased to replace an older gaming mouse. It has good weight and big enough for your hand to rest comfortably. I’ve had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists so that is important. The lighting is a good bonus. USBC charging. Would recommend.

This will be my second time buying this mouse. First one I had for a year and sadly had an issue with an update on the iQue software and it bricked my mouse. Love the feel and response from the mouse. If you like thicker and slightly heavy mice then this is a good one for you. Good grip for when you get a little sweaty while playing or using and a balanced feel.

This mouse is probably the best bang for your buck, if you're not looking for weights or the looks of a radiator transformer. It has beautiful and customizable RGB lights, and very good battery life. You can customize your DPI to your liking and I haven't suffered any ghosting, input lag or disconnects. A great choice for anyone wanting a wireless gaming mouse for an affordable price, that has nothing to envy from other, more bloated and expensive offerings.

Works great as long as iCue is running in the background. Upon boot, iCue can take some time to start up. The mouse is nearly unusable before iCue starts. If iCue experiences interruptions, the mouse will get jittery.
Comfort and weight are perfect. RGB is really bright for a mouse. The clicks also feel great. Awesome as a mouse, the only drawback is the software.

A very good gaming mouse with nice connection flexibility, a good heft without feeling heavy for no reason, fantastic tracking and good RGB lighting if you're into that sort of thing. Battery life has been very good for a RGB rechargeable mouse and button placement and click feel has been very good. My favorite mouse so far. I used a razer death adder for over 6 years and a corsair m65 RGB pro and this has been the best so far.

Bought to complete a build using the corsair atmosphere. I put up my g502 hero to check this mouse out and I think this will be my daily driver from now on. There are no weights and this mouse is not that heavy, though I like my mice a bit heavier but that's just my own preference. This is also my first wireless mouse and in my week or so of using it, I haven't noticed any issues, feels like I'm using a wired mouse. It's very responsive and has a healthy amount of buttons, it's no MMO mouse but Corsair does make one of those.
The iCue software gives you pretty good control over this mouse from increasing or decreasing the dpi via adjustable presets that are mapped to the two buttons next to the left mouse button, to controlling the lighting and having it sync with your other peripherals. You can calibrate to the surface you're using it on as well. There are two other buttons below the dpi buttons that can be mapped for whatever function you like, I have them set to control leaning in certain games and reloading/action buttons in others.
In my opinion, these buttons need to be moved back towards the palm rest a tad, like a half inch but for people with long thumbs I'm sure they will feel just fine. It comes with a USB A to USB C charging cable and a couple of different clip on grips. Overall I'm happy with this mouse and look forward to seeing how long it lasts.

This mouse is the best mouse I have ever used, despite it only being a casual mouse. The mouse fits my huge hands perfectly, and the buttons are easy to reach. The textured rubber on the palm is something that I have NEVER seen before, an I absolutely LOVE IT. Now, the reason I said casual mouse was because this mouse is extremely heavy, which makes turning hard for fps gamers. If you want to be a hardcore fps gamer, I reccomend the glorious model O. For MMO and RPG gamers, I reccomend a Razer Naga Trinity. For casual gamers who dont care about that stuff or want a mouse that looks and feels good, this mouse is a game changer. The mouse skates are smooth af and the grips are comfortable. If you have small hands, this mouse may not be the best choice because of the size, but for a 6' 2 Male who can palm a basketball, I can use it in any grip style I like, although I will warn you about butterfly clicking and accidentally hitting a dpi profiling button. As for mousepads, I recommend getting a hard mousepad (my personal favorite is the razer sphex v2) as the mouse will glide like butter on it. I also recommend to players needing a high cost to buy mouse grip tape (search for lizard skin mouse tape on amazon) as it makes drag clicking MUCH easier. So overall, great mouse for anyone looking for portability, low latency wireless, casual gaming, or someone with big hands. The last thing I will cover before I go is RGB, which is astonishingly bright. 10/10 would reccomend.

This is a great mouse. The charge lasts over a day, and it is very responsive. The adjustments that can be made using the iCue software, which can be downloaded from the Corsair web site, make it great for gaming. The addressable RGB features are very nice. I've bought two, one as a gift. I love it.

Ok, here is the details, which in my opinion, has the upgrades that the previous version needed. I have the previous model as well to compare.
The new version went back to having the front/back left side buttons instead of the previous button set-up.
It went from 1,000 to 2,000 inter polling which I couldn’t tell the difference but the slipstream technology is amazing and I never had any connection issues.
Other Details: CORSAIR - DARK CORE RGB PRO Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with Slipstream Technology. CORSAIR DARK CORE RGB PRO wireless gaming mouse features up to 50 hours of battery life for uninterrupted gameplay.
I checked it out for the 50 hour mark, based on playing 2-3 hours a day I didn’t need to recharge for 2 and 1/2 weeks. Pretty sweet.
I love the pinpoint accuracy and precision With the new custom PixArt PAW3392 optical sensor, optimized for extremely low power consumption and customizable in 1 DPI resolution steps.
RGB backlighting is amazing but you might not need all the lighting. It’s nice to have though.
I like and prefer Omron switches over Razer’s optical. The Omron is ultra-durable switch which is 50 million clicks. Just my opinion.
You get the USB wireless slipstream adapter, side grip, plus the charging cord.

This mouse feels extremely comfortable and the slipstream wireless connection is incredible feels as good if not better than a wired mouse. It also comes with a lengthy cord for charging while you play or for you to use it as a corded mouse If you prefer. The RGB lighting is also very well done. All in all 10 out of 10 would buy again.
