I am absolutely in love with this headset. Super comfy, the sound is amazing. Battery life is about 15hours for me. I turn the RGB off for battery life. The only downfall is that I wish the sidetone was louder, but it's not a dealbreaker for me

Good sound quality for both speech and listening to audio playback. Quick connectivity. A bit heavy, but comfortable on ears and on head. Will flatten your hair if you care.

Initially purchased for my wife so she can listen to music and have the occasional meeting. She love them. When I built my son's PC, decided to get him a pair as well, and he loves them as well. Long battery life and great range. Sound quality is awesome as well.

Great sound and conformable for extended use with the floating headstrap. I personally tried the virtuosos and exchanged them for these. Microphone I'm told sounds great. Decent battery life or just run them plugged in. Overall a good replacement for my aging gen 1 astro a50s

This would be an easy 5/5 from a sound performance standpoint. I switched to this from an older HyperX headset (which I still love as well!). The difference with this set was huge though. Been playing some COD and Apex and I'm hearing enemy movement better than ever thanks to these. My only slight dings are: -The wireless range isn't as good as my old headset. Still ok, and it's fine when I'm at my desk but walking around with it on might give you some issues. -Not a fan of the Corsair software, never have been. Bloated and not very intuative. -I have a bigger size head and the band is comfortable enough in short sessions but I prefer my HyperX for longer sessions from strictly a comfort standpoint. All in all a great headset, really glad I picked this up!

Sound quality is really good. Fit and comfort are also top notch. Battery life is pretty good as well. Reslly like that dolby atmos comes free for life with the headset for as long as you have them. Like that they also have replacement earcups and headband.

These headphones sound really good, and functions really well. I do enjoy the Dolby atmos surround sound, and feel works very well. I do think that when Dolby is enabled, and a audio that is not Dolby encoding is not available its sounds a bit muffled. If you disable the surround sound the audio improves, but it would be nice if a auto switch could be applied depending on the encoding. The microphone sounds good, but it would be nice if i could adjust the mic closer to my mouth to keep from having to speak so loud. The battery life seems to work really well, and the option for wired or wireless takes care of any concerns for the battery dropping out, and not having headphones. Overall I really like the headphones and would recommend them.

Its a great headset all in all. Theres a few pros and cons for the headset. Pros: It looks amazing, the build quality is there, the mic is easy to mute with a flick up, the sound quality is great and the cushions are soft for long gaming. Cons: Even though it has Type C charging you cant use other type C wires because the design of the type C is slim and doesnt work with majority of the others. The battery life is arguable, I usually have about 14 hours of life before itll beep and tell me to charge and the charging takes awhile. All in all its still a great headset if youre looking to buy I would recommend the HS80 MAX if youre looking for more battery life but make sure its compatible with your console

I think it's really a 4.5 star product. The sound is great, the fitment is awesome woth the floating headband. The ear cups are breathable, but i wish it was slightly more so. The only issue is the RGB DOES NOT work with the included iCUE software, but the MSI software i have worked so i lucked out. The battery life doesn't seem as long as i think it should be, but i haven't actually timed it. I also might need to try a higher amp charging block to fully charge it.

This is a good wireless headset with a lot of sound quality and decent customization, but its got too many issues that aren't worth the price. Lighting is useless, since it's only one tiny square and should have just been a default "sticker" of some kind instead of an RGB icon, because despite how small an area it is, that small square kills the already small battery. Range is abysmal, as you you can go maybe 3-5 steps away from your desk before it starts cutting out. (I'm in a small room and I can't reach the bathroom just 1 room over, maybe 8 feet away from the pc it's plugged into) Comfort-wise it's great, but terrible for glasses. The earcups are super comfy and the whole headset is well padded and good for long hours of gameplay. The band at top is awkward for "adjusting" to your head, and will take a few tries to feel right, but it does the job well. I personally prefer the Void Pro's style of headset adjustment better as it's quicker, but the band here is much comfier than the thin patch of padding the Void Pro has. The microphone is kind of hit or miss, as it has connection difficulties when trying to connect to Discord or Google Meet stating it's been muted (even though it isn't) or showing that you are unmuted but the red microphone light is still on. *You would have to go into the iCue software and manually unmute it, and you need to have the new 4.0 version of the software for it to even be recognized. Sound quality on the mic is all-right, but not really worth the price you're paying. The charging cable is a USB-C, but it has to be a specific USB-C. Your average cable has a noticeable bulge right before the connection point, (where the metal bit starts) and because this headset needs a "slim" USB-C you can only use specific cables. (My Pixel 4 USB-C cable is too bulky for this, as are all of my other USB-C cables) Overall it's not a bad headset if you want to sit at your desk and not worry about cables, though with how short the battery life is it doesn't really feel worth it. You can honestly go with a wired headset and it won't make much of a difference. With how small the battery is you're bound to be tethered to your desk within a few hours anyway. Personally I feel you can do just as good, if not better with a wired headset. If you're looking for a good wireless headset I would recommend trying the HyperX Cloud II (2). Same price, but it's got a MUCH better range and battery.

      Hi Kenneth,

Sorry to hear that you're getting poor battery and range. Could you try relocating the wireless dongle, such as from the rear of your system to the front USB ports? And could you try cycling the battery to see if battery life improves? Allow is to fully deplete, then fully charge overnight. If you're still having issues with range or battery life, please reach out to our support team so we can assist you directly: support.corsair.com

Great headset for the price. Great quality sound wired and wireless. The rgb lights really make a nice final touch on the elegant design of the headset. The ear foams are really comfortable. Battery lasts a full day on full charge. Mic quality is really great as well. 5/5

I really love this headset. It's absurdly comfortable. I had the virtuoso with upgraded ear cups before this and it just wasn't forking for me. The build quality is really good for the price, the audio is good, and it's easily the most comfortable option I've tried in recent years. I will say I liked the virtuoso sound better, but it was only slightly better and honestly arguably just different, rather than better. But considering how comfortable this is, I'd much rather have this. I also have the Logitech G pro X wireless and this is a much better headset, it's more comfortable, looks better, and sounds better in my experience, and that's a $200 headset.

There's a lot of good features about this headset and some frustrating ones. Pro's Sound was great, battery life was amazing, came with a long charging cord that enable you to charge while wearing if needed(unlike other brands). You can walk out of the room and the headset would stay connected. Overall construction looked strong and metal hinges. Cons The microphone has a bright circular LED that shines red off the inside of glasses when not in use( even tried to shut it off in ICUE software). The inner stitching on the ear cushions was painful to the ear cartilage after a couple hours. the ear pain was too much that no matter how much I liked it I couldn't wear it for long enough sessions without having to take it on and off over and over each day. I really liked all the other stuff about the headset I even searched about buying aftermarket ear cushions however nothing specifically made yet for this headset. I hope Corsair addresses being able to turn the mic light off for the sake of people with glasses. The cushions well put your finger inside the cushion and lightly pull to wear it might reach resting on a bigger ear. That's the spot it becomes extremely uncomfortable and why I sadly returned them.

The Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless Gaming Headset is a fantastic choice for PS5 gamers. The audio quality is top-notch, immersing you fully into the game world. The wireless freedom is a huge plus, allowing for unrestricted gameplay. However, I did encounter an issue with the cushion around the speaker. The glue holding it in place started to wear off, which is a bit disappointing considering the headset’s overall quality.

Hubby loves this. He FINALLY listened to me and got a wireless headset after going through 3 gaming headsets all wired and and eventually the mic breaking. Had to get him a headset hook but that was a $5 thing. So far he hasn't broken the mic on these, the talk and sound quality is great, and the battery lasts almost 3 days with non stop playing for 4 to 8 hrs at a time. He loves that he's not confined to a cord like he use to and often forgets they are on because of the long range dongle connection.
