Not much of a temperature improvement

There really isn’t much of a temperature improvement compared to a 120mm push pull dual fan liquid cooler since i have this one configured in a push pull 4 fan configuration. But the location i have it in my case gave me the room to put in extra memory

But there are Air coolers that work just as good. I used it for about a year before i made the jump to air. The only plus to this is it looks great. The cooler is subpar and the coverage from Corsair is, risky. I had a 8700k clocked to 4.9 at 1.3 vcore and switch to air and had maybe a 1 degree increase but and large boost in confidence that it wasn't going to leak or die on me unexpectedly. Also AIO's are inefficient with cooling surrounding parts of the mobo, like the VRM's, so keep that in mind. The tubes are also pretty tough to work with and after a year the fans started making and rattle that drove me nuts.

My son wanted a liquid cooler for his gaming computer and so he got this and installed it himself. And he is only 13! Very impressive and looks great.

I used this to replace my older H110i. Had it for 2 or 3 years and decided it was time for a new one.

The fans are very loud so I replaced with better 140mm fans. It’s perfect now.

Great product, owned a H60 for approx 5yrs before this without any issues, corsair has always been my goto for liquid cooling. so far I'm very happy with the h110i, RGB lighting is great, software works great too. I noticed a 5-10c+ drop through out my case since installing this cooler not just CPU and MOBO, even after overclocking my AMD 8350 to 4.4ghz the temp stays in mid to high 30s playing a game on 4k and NB on my infamous 970 chipset for heating issues don't go above 55c (granted I do have 4 case fans). my only issue is while the fans do move a lot of air the bearings in the one fan made a horrible noise right from the start otherwise id give it 5 stars all day, so keep in mind you'll want to get better 140mm fans. yes it is a loud cooler but that just means its beastly, it don't bother me a bit.

    Great Cooler for Basic Overclocking

    Posted .

Why Not 5 Stars: - Stock Paste on Cooler is a joke. Tested it with an i7-8700k overclocked to 5.00 GHz at 1.35V for the heck of it. Temps, under full virtual load, peaked at 81°C. - Hoses are pretty stiff. It requires a good bit of persuasion to get them to bend in tight areas which can be a bit nerve racking. Overall: This is a great cooler for (in my option) new rig builders or seasoned builders who don't feel like doing custom water cooling. Keeps my i7-8700k overclocked at 5.00 GHz at 1.35V to a max peak of 70°C under virtual load for the better part of an hour through multiple different programs and when it does reach that temperature it doesn't stay there long. This is also without a custom fan curve so I may play around with that and if lower temps are achieved this will be updated. At max I don't think the fans are very loud. With headphones on sound doesn't exist which is how I imagine most people are on their PC. Real Word Application Max Temps: StarWars BattleFront II @ Ultra 1440p 144hz: 50°C GTA V @ Ultra 1440p 144hz: 45°C Garrys Mod @ Max 1440p 144hz: 41°C World of Tanks @ Max 1440p 144hz: 42°C Planet Coaster @ Max 1440p 144hz: 40°C Video Rendering: Lightworks: 55°C Adobe Premier: 56°C Those were the programs I noticed with the highest temps and most stress on the cpu, others may be added later. When another rig is to be build this is going to be my go to.

AIO equal to top air cooling at lighter weight

Fairly straight forward installation. Make sure you have enough room in your case. as dual 140mm's are pretty wide. Preferably install in the front of the case in at least a pull configuration but a push/pull will give you the best results pulling in cool air and allowing it to exit via the rear and top ventilation. Tested on an overclocked 8086k @ 5ghz non-delidded w/ gelid extreme thermal compound. Temps were on par with my Noctua D15 dual fan air cooler (Noctua was slightly cooler by 1-2 degrees overall), but it weighs much more and takes up a large portion of your case. Prime95 26.6 small sets pushed temps to the mid 80's after a 30 min run. Your results will vary depending on the quality of your chip. Have not had a chance to test on a 9900k yet.
