On the heavy side

Bad mouse avoid
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible mouse, the coating peeled within a month and have only gotten worse. The wheel literally doesn’t work half the time so scrolling through anything is annoying. But a different mouse this one isn’t worth a penny. Oh any before any one says clean the mouse Iv tried everything and nothing works the coating of this mouse is the worse ever.

Never been so angry at a mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Main issue was with the mouse double clicking every so often, sometimes back to back. Imagine closing out a tab and having to closed, liking a picture or comment only having to click 3 or four times to have it stick. Tried updating the firmare/software also used the 2.4hz and bluetooth settings, keeping the mouse charged. No fix. Past the return date so I just smashed the mouse out of rage. Seriously, that's how much I hate this overpriced mouse.

Great mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse feels fantastic, it's wireless, I got mine for about the same price as the Harpoon wireless due to having points and it was 62 dollars 4 days ago or so, so it came to 50 dollars. Software, I saw how people just hate the software and to be honest it is convoluted, boy is it confusing but I finally figured it out and remapped certain keyboard functions to it for my games, makes old games more fun, also this is a cheap alternative to an Elgato Stream deck considering you can map macros to it like the deck, so I no longer need a stream deck thanks to this. I haven't tested the wireless part as I know it lasts longer than the dark core, which is why I bought it. Last but not least, this mouse has the potential to reach a new audience, not just PC owners but people who are only able to play with one hand, it makes a great controller for one hand and there's a market out there but to be honest it's not for everyone due to it being 80 dollars but I love it and it's better than using the keyboard to do alot of stuff in games.

Good-looking but doesn't feel like a gaming mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is not compatible with mouse pad MM800 Corsair, the bottom of the mouse is not leveled so it makes annoying sounds when moving on mouse pad.

This mouse is C H O N K Y.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big, chunky boi! Rubber grips and large size makes this a great mouse for big, manly hands. On smaller hands, it will fill your entire palm, and for me, makes it a little harder to click some of the extra buttons. Additional buttons are handy and fully customizable, though the iCue software can be a little confusing to remap the extra buttons. Once set, you can save the profile, so you won't have to mess with that again. The mouse overall feels solid and sturdy, but most of the buttons feel lower quality. The main right/left buttons and the extra 2 forward buttons have a little play in them, and those 2 forward index finger buttons don't have a solid, satisfying click, along with a bit of a squeak, which sometimes messes with my gaming. I often have to press real hard to make sure the click registers. The 3 thumb buttons are tight and clicky, though, and work beautifully for reload and other skills buttons you need quick access to. The wireless signal is finicky, so you might have to position the receiver just the right way to get consistent results. On my old laptop, I had to use the included USB cable and adapter and tape it to the edge of my desk for the wireless to work without issues. I got a new laptop, and the receiver works just fine in the on-board USB 3.0 ports, so, that's weird. It glides decently on many surfaces, but my best performance has been paired with the smooth side on the Corsair MM600 Dual Sided Aluminum Gaming Mouse Pad. There is still friction, even on this combination, and with the higher than usual weight of the mouse, it won't slide freely across your desk. I like the rechargeable feature, so I can plug the mouse in overnight and always have it on full, ready to go. The battery does last a long time, even with RGB lighting, so even if you don't top off the battery every night, it will last at least several days, as long as the power switch is off when not in use. If you get a deep discount on this mouse, it'll get the job done. But I feel there are better mice from other brands in the same price range. Personally, I think Logitech has both better build quality and software.

Comfortable, programmable, responsive.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best mouse that I have owned to date. Perfect for some one wanting a larger mouse for a more fitting grip. The side buttons are places mostly in very comfortable areas with only one being slightly unreachable in quick moments in games. This mouse can be used in bluetooth mode for basic web searches but suffers from slight lag on that setting. For best healing performance you will want to use three included wireless dongle they provide and for maximum performance, it even comes with a cable to run that dongle so that it may be set on the desktop with the mouse. Minimum distance to the dongle but no wires dragging down as you try to move the mouse. My only real complaint is that the software was a huge hassle to set up. No macros wanted to save no matter what I tried. It would just revert back to default settings every time. But after trying on a different computer and seeing it work perfectly I had discovered that it was some program or combination of programs running on my pc that was getting im the way of corsairs own program running correctly. I was able to set up the mouse on a different pc and then save the profiles locally to the mouse before plugging it back into my main pc. General comfort - 10/10 (larger hands) Button placement - 9/10 (one is a bit high) Build quality - 10/10 Software - 6/10 (my own experience is probably a worst case scenario)

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels good in the hands and gets rid of the wires. Battery is preety good. Once it is low, it is nice to be able to work with it plugged in. The provided cable is a good length. Getting it programmed was also a breeze.

Perfect fit and love customizable buttons galore
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was replacing an original Logitech G502 that the thumb sniper button was no longer reliable on(after several years of use). When I went into my local store I was planning on purchasing the Corsair Nightsword as it look similar to the G502. What I found was the Nightsword was slightly too long for my grip, left and right clicking was fine, but the sniper button was just a little too far forward for my thumb. Then I saw the Ironclaw, but there was only 1 left on the shelf and no floor demo model to try before you buy. I probably stared at the two boxes for a good 5-10 minutes before I decided to take the leap on wireless and to see if the set of 3 buttons on the middle left would work for my sniper mode. Pulling the mouse out of the box once I got out to my truck I knew instantly I'd made the correct choice. I've spent several hours gaming with it now. The Logitech G502 is in the trash and while it served me well for years I've no regrets.

Great mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very comfortable and and is awesome for gaming having a dpi of up to 18000 is awesome long with icue software and being able to change the colors is great and only for 80 bucks it great. Their are cheaper gaming mice but 80 dollars for everything that comes with the mice is worth it. Is wireless and wired as well and also Bluetooth compatible and. Something that isn’t even in the specs which is a great and on. Love this mouse

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waited for the day for any peripheral maker out there to make a mouse for larger handed people. Sure I might have missed a couple mice here and there, but this just works. Tried other corsair mice before and after this purchase. This continues to be the winner. Used in MMO and FPS games. Goods: 1. Easy to set bindings and dpi 2. iCue makes it easy to go in depth 3. No connection issues 4. Ridiculoualy long battery life Bads: 1. Just wish the materials used were better quality. Maybe Corsair will have a 2.0 version someday? Best purchase I have done in a long while, thanks Corsair.

This is a great mouse.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this mouse, though i wish the sniper button was thumb level. It's got a really great feel in your hand and it's not heavy, but it's got some weight to it. The RGB is really cool and the zone control is nice with iCue. In my opinion, The battery life is exceptional considering all the RGB; I'm using it constantly, about 8+ hours a day, and it lasts about 6 days. It's a great buy, and honestly, I'd buy a second one if the sniper button was repositioned. This mouse doesn't feel cheap and crappy, and you'll use it more because of how much you enjoy it. Take my advice, if you're on the fence and buy this mouse; you could always return it if you don't like it.
