    The Perfect Keyboard

So, I got this when it was on sale so I wouldn't have to spend the entire $200 it was originally listed as. But even if it wasn't on sale, I might've bought it anyways. This has basically everything you desire in a keyboard. USB Passthrough, the RGB LED bar on the back and the RGB with the keys are bright and pretty vibrant, iCue is easy to use, and the speed switches are soooo satisfying in sound and quick in actuation. The wrist-rest is great, and there's so much good with this. If you got the money, do it. I have no regrets, and you shouldn't either. Well done, Corsair.

Corsair K95 RGB LED backlight mechanical keyboard

This looks to be a well built keyboard. Never spent this kind of money before on a keyboard, but at $129 + tax, well below another online competitor at the time (clearing them out at Best Buy?). Like the feature of the removable palm rest. Also the keys seem a lot more sensitive than what I'm used to. Comes with a packet of extra grey keycaps for the most-used keys for gaming applications. Have not loaded the control software for the LED backlighting yet, the lighting (for right now) just has 3 generating patterns built-in or off mode. Would just like to have a steady light for the keys rather than the mood-changing pattern that's built-in, but the control software should take care of that. Noticed that the number keys at the top, the number is on top of the symbol (of each key), which is backwards from standard, just a little dis-orienting when needing to SHIFT the key. Also the symbols for the letter keys is a little small, but that is due to having the backlight to illuminate the letter symbol. Also to note the USB cord to the PC has two USB connections to be made, probably for the LED backlighting control. Overall, really like this keyboard and will just have to get used to a few things as compared to a more inexpensive version or generic type keyboard.

    Upgrade from the K70

I had a K70 for the last ten years and this is a nice upgraded version. While I loved my K70, the little details on the newer versions really made me want to make the switch. The wrist rest insert is removable making it easier to clean and the media buttons are taller now, making them easier to access. The RGB is extremely simple to adjust using Corsair's iCue software. It's plug and play although I did have some issues using the software while plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Once I switched it back to a 2.0 port everything went back to normal. I'm not sure why it glitches on 3.0, but that's a disappointment. It's 2020, you'd think everything would be 3.0 compatible. I had to dock a star for this. The response on the MX Speed switches is good, but took some getting used to after years of typing/playing on MX Browns. I found myself accidentally pressing keys. The macros are an added feature that I didn't have on my K70 and I probably won't use them but my son will likely program them for his various games. I find myself pressing the G1 and G6 when trying to press Escape or CTRL. I'm sure I'll get used to them eventually, so that's not really a con. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the keyboard and I haven't missed my K70 yet. I've gamed on it a few times and haven't noticed any issues.

After buying and trying many different brands and types of mechanical keyboards this one was finally the one for me when I received the k95 and unboxed it I knew it was the right choice it gave everything I wanted in one key bored per key RGB lighting , dedicated media keys and macros , hot swappable keys, usb passthrough (only usb 2.0 not 3.o sadly) , a included wrist rest that is reversible , and those smooth perfectly stabilized cherry MX silver keys. That's all I wanted a keyboard with all those features l. Some other keyboards offered some of those features but I haven't found one that had them all. That was intill I purchased the Corsair k95, the last keyboard I will ever need it's is worth the price as it is the ultimate premium rgb mechanical keyboard! Don't spend your time searching and buy and try this one first!

I have had a total of two Corsair keyboards including this one. I had the K70 before upgrading to this K95. This keyboard is built very well and feels premium! The brushed aluminum is sleek but can be a hassle to keep clean. That is one of the downsides. The RGB colors are fun to play with and can be customized to match any setup. The MX Cherry Speed switches are incredibly fast but the low actuation point can take a little bit to get used to. I came from Blue switches and these speed switches are a lot more sensitive but actuates a lot faster.

Great keyboard for hand fatigue during gaming

This keyboard has keys that require very light pressure which is amazing for playing games for long periods of time or even normal typing. There is some initial period where you have to get used to it, because it's so sensitive compared to normal key types. But once you get used to it, I cannot stand the use of other keys anymore because it actually tires out your hands. This is great for helping alleviate hand fatigue. It also has amazing customization for the light patterns and colors. The macro keys are also great as well.

    Solid construction and responsive keys

Pros: solid build, vibrant lights, responsive keys. Con: iCue software, that’s needed to program the G keys/Macros, currently having issues with letting macros work more than once (only problem I’m having). The issue with the Macros/G keys is the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars (would have done 4 1/2 stars if the interface would have let me). The solid build let’s me feel that it’s not going to snap in two like my old keyboard. The lighting is really nice and with the iCue software you have a lot of options and setting for lighting effects. The Cherry MX Speed key switches are nice. Feels like it takes little pressure for the system to respond. Though I recommend to do your research on which mechanical switch suits you. iCue for the most is working for me except for managing the macros. Could be due to my computer hardware being so old or a bug in the software that Corsair should be working on fixing soon.

Sweet sounds of perfection. These keys are just the right amount of actuation for gaming and typing. Now albeit, they are quite easy to actuate, you can still lightly lay your hand on your normal homerow, or gaming keys. The lighting is bright and there is a light bar across the top that can be quite mesmerizing. I recommend this. I can't speak on longevity, but it is incredibly sturdy feeling.

I was hesitant to buy this keyboard. I mean, $200 for a keyboard? Sure, it looks pretty, but is it REALLY worth it? Well, after having it for a week now, I can confidently say...YES! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the mechanical cherry speed keys. They're very light to the touch and I found myself making tons of typos the first few days, but as I became accustomed to it, I've found that I've adapted my typing and actually find myself typing even faster than I had before. For the record, I was typing an average of 65-70 wpm, but now I'm closer to 80 wpm and am sure this will continue to climb as I get more used to the keyboard.) I haven't done much gaming on it, but my teenage son has been quite a lot, and while it's not "THE" gaming keyboard he wants, he too is growing accustomed to it and says it's a big improvement over my old Logitech G15 keyboard I had. Overall, I'm very happy with this keyboard. My ONLY complaint, is when I opened it, there were tons of keycaps loose in the bag with the board, which I blame on shipping. But, after replacing them all back where they belong, I found that it was actually missing the X keycap, but it also contained 2 of the grey D gaming keycaps. I've contacted Corsair and believe they will be sending me a replacement X keycap for it.

This is a solidly built mechanical keyboard that isn't as loud as some others. The macro keys are a nice bonus on the side as well. The keys are smooth and easily read because of the large font used and the switches are smooth. It has some nice rgb to it but you can turn it off if you want. The cord is also thick and tough so you don't have to worry about it coming off. Overall a pretty solid keyboard.

Got this for a steal, 90 dollars off. It's so good that I would go back and buy another one at full price. It's very well made and feels luxurious. The Cherry MX Speed switches are beautiful and it is very satisfying to type on. LEDs are fantastic and very bright with tons of customization options. The extra touch of the LED strip on the top of the keyboard really lights up my set up and is very nice to look at. Worth every penny. I recommend this to everyone.

My keyboard broke, so off to Best Buy with a friend, I wanted a mechanical keyboard and this was on a great sale, the same keyboard on that day was not on sale. I was told there was little difference in the feel and how I can type on it. None on display so I could not try it. This is a great keyboard and it was on sale at a bargain price so I bought When I got home and I typed on the keyboard with the SPEED switches I had a lot of errors, short movement keys when I brushed over them there was a character on the screen. I just could not work on this. So, I returned it and got the same keyboard with the BROWN switches, Much better for my use, maybe not for a gamer. Very well built but for gaming not great for me to get work done.

Already posted about the K70 RGB Rapidfire I'm using for work. This is for my gaming rig and I really like it. MX Speed keys are best I've ever used. Switched/Upgraded from Razer Chroma keyboard (V1) and it's just superior.

A very nice keyboard with one issue, for me anyways. Nice overall build quality, the cherry mx speed switches are nice! The RGB is amazing if you are into that. A lot of my other products are corsair and ICUE is simple to use, ICUE does have a few issues that i will not go into here because this is a review of the keyboard only. Now to the issue with the keyboard, i do not like where the macro keys are, my old keyboard was a Masterkeys L which has a very basic layout, it took me a good 3 days to get used to where the esc, tab, caps, shift, ctrl keys were. Overall a great keyboard though

Been watching the price on this board for a few months. It's a great board, but I didnt want to throw 199.99 at it. Yesterday I see they dropped the price 70 dollars. At 129.99 you will not find a better board. The RGB is the stuff of legends. Each key has separate rgb for customization and there is ZERO light bleed through on other keys. Aluminum keeps it firm, and the red switches feel smooth amd responsive

Great feel. Very customizable. Lots of preset profiles online or you can build your own. Great sturdy build quality. I bought one for myself, then one reach for my two kids. They will last for a long time. When used in the corsair ecosystem (headphones, keyboard, mouse, other lighting) the customization is even cooler. I got them on sale which definitely helped in the value

Incredibly smooth and tactile keyboard. The passthrough usb is nice since this keyboard requires 2 usb slots. The individually addressable rgb keys are nice and its easy to apply themes others have created. Macro keys are handy as well as the grippy wasd keys. Tbe only criticism i can think of is the usb passthough isn't 3.0 or 3.1.

The keypresses are solid with good throw on the switches. It's easy to type on this keyboard. The lighting is excellent and I like the roller wheel for volume control. It has 1 USB port, which is good for my headphones. The brushed metal appearance is nice. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the rubberized material on the palm rest. I think it's difficult to clean.
