The CORSAIR M65 RGB ULTRA Tunable Gaming Mouse comes packaged in a box with the mouse, warranty guide, manual and safety information. All of the weights are installed. You can use from 97g to 115g of weight by modifying the weights used. I thought it felt perfect leaving all the weights installed. The build is solid with an aluminum body and Omron switches. This is a quality product.
To customize the configuration of the mouse, you need to install the iCUE software. There are 8 programmable buttons. 3 buttons are on the side (including the sniper button) and 5 are located on the top of the mouse. Of course you can also customize the RGB lighting. You can tell which DPI setting you are on based on the color light between the up and down arrow on the mouse. There are also programmable tilt gestures. I did not use this as I like to leave the mouse level and use the keyboard for those functions (GGWP, crouch jump, reload, charge ULT). It may work for you.
I played Tarkov and PubG. This mouse is designed for, and great for, FPS games. The clicking and overall use of the mouse feels amazing! The mouse wheel is great. It is notched making it easy to only go one up or down making it easier to use in FPS games. The click of the mouse really felt like nothing I have used before. I’ve never really raved about how a mouse clicked before but this one is something else.
Overall I rate this mouse 5 out of 5 stars. You will not be disappointed purchasing this mouse.

Very Similar to the M65 Elite

About
The M65 RGB Ultra Wired Corsair mouse is a tunable gaming mouse designed for first-person shooter gaming. It is built on the RGB platform that utilizes the iCue Corsair interface. This interface allows for control of the speed, tilt, buttons, and color of the mouse. It has tunable weights on the bottom side of the mouse and a fully adjustable DPI setting that can be adjusted on the fly.
Similar to the M65 RGB Elite
The mouse that I was using before this was the Corsair M65 RGB Elite that came out around 2019. I see a lot of similarities between the two. This mouse is new to the market and has a really similar build to the Elite. The shape is virtually the same. Most of the coloring and the buttons are the same. Same kind of tunable weights under the mouse. The physical differences that I see are that the sides of the mouse have a texture to them and the scroll wheel has a matching texture on it. The only technical difference I see is that the Ultra has a 26,000 DPI optical sensor compared to the Elite’s 18,000 DPI. There seems to be a different click feel for the left and right-click buttons between the two as well. My guess is if you have tried the Elite previously and like it, you will probably like the Ultra.
My Experience
These Corsair RGB mice have been some of my favorites. They feel sturdy and fit my hand well. The clicks are not too loud. I can set my control for buttons, weight, and speed which help for gaming. I love the RGB color settings through the iCue software. It recognized my other iCue products and automatically added the lighting links to match my previous settings, so that I didn’t have to start from scratch when updating the mouse. If I could change one thing aesthetically, it would be the light on the DPI control that stays a certain color when you select the DPI setting. I would like to be able to lock the DPI setting and have that light match the other RGB lighting.
Overall
The M65 RGB Ultra Wired mouse is one of my favorites. It has a good feel, accuracy, and I like the iCue interface. I am giving this product 5 stars.

First the positives of this mouse:
I really enjoy the way this mouse feels in my hand. The size and weight of the mouse feels really good to me. I prefer a little larger/heavier mouse and this fits the bill. Additionally, being able to customize using iCUE software is very nice as well.
For the only negative:
I have gone through two of these mice. I wouldn't say I am aggressive with my mice, but they do see near daily use. After a while I had to replace my first one as the mouse started having double clicking issues and phantom clicking. However, I did like the mouse enough that I got the same mouse. I have had my second one for a year now and it has been working perfectly.

Replaced my old M65. Noticed the difference immediately, felt more precise, perfect weight and size. Like the added non slip grips on the side. Programming the mouse is easy to do with downloadable software. Great features, high dpi settings of 26000, sniper button, weights, RGB.

Really intrigued by this mouse and am pleasantly surprised with its functionality. I had an older Logitech mouse that needed replacing and I saw this mouse and figured I'd give it a shot.
The shape of the mouse is taking a little getting used to. My previous gaming mouse was your typical, mouse shape. It fit the hand quite nicely so using it right out of the box was easy. This one is a bit oddly shaped however it still feels good in the hand. This mouse includes weights you can screw into the bottom however, I don't feel they provide any enhancement. With the weights out, there's not a whole lot of difference in feel with the mouse. They look ok in the mouse but, to me, doesn't really feel like they do anything
The RGB on this is undoubtedly cool. My previous mouse had one small section on it that glowed but this one has three different sections that light up. Everything is controlled by the iCUE software so you can easily change the color just like any other RGB device. you can also map the different buttons on the mouse to whatever you like as well through the software.
For those wondering, the "sniper" button near the thumb buttons is designed, out of the box, the aid in accurate shooting for all the FPS players. Basically, once you ADS, you click on the sniper button and it slows down the movement speed of you mouse enabling you to get more accurate shots. Definitely will take some time getting used to but it does work pretty well. This button can also be mapped to whatever function you need it to be as well.
Overall, really like the mouse both in its performance and looks. The weights, while not a huge thing, are more for aesthetics than anything else as far as I'm concerned.

The Next Level...

The Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra takes it to the next level. I'm a big fan of the Corsair product ecosystem and have been using the M65 RGB Elite for paired with the Corsair K70 mkII, low-profile keyboard on my dedicated 11th Gen gaming notebook. The M65 Elite was already a stupendous offering, with great balance & control. Upgrading to the M65 RGB Ultra was an unexpected, eye-opening experience.
The presentation of this gaming mouse looks identical to the prior 'Elite' version so I wasn't expecting much. The RGB zones are basic & understated - which is something I actually prefer. The cable sheathing is smooth & agile but only time will tell if bunching and wear will become a issue. The tunable weight system is well engineered and very flexible. But the improvements in the main buttons alone were worth the wait.
Compared to the 'Elite' version, the Ultra primary buttons feel much faster and give a heightened level of confidence while gaming. I didn't experience any mis-registered clicks or double activation glitches in some 50+ hours of gaming on platforms like Insurgency & C o D Cold War. Aiming and firing were the best I've experienced on any gaming mouse and with the weight system uninstalled, I can confidently state that this mouse rivals ANY of the ultra-light mice I've tried in the past 24 months. With the 'Elite' I found myself preferring to have the weight retention screws in place for that small bit of added mass and a lower center of gravity... but on the Ultra, I hands-down preferred the feel & response immediately upon using it... leaving the tuning system in the packaging.
For my preference, the Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra feels the most natural at it's lightest configuration.
In terms of control, the iCue control software has progressed with many updates over just a few months and I find the software to be intuitive and well organized. No bugs or glitches experienced with the software and no Windows error events encountered.
The mouse is near-perfect with respect to ergonomics and should satisfy most owners with medium to large sized hands. Glide is excellent and again, bests any ultra-light I've experienced. The way in which Corsair implemented the dedicated, sniper button is also a very satisfying aspect of this mouse. I actually use it a lot and the positioning is perfect in my mind. Many competitors just never seem to get that right. The scroll wheel rolls nice and doesn't rattle or feel sloppy. Kudos to Corsair for not cutting corners on this important component.
There is one area that I do need to mention though. The way the Left & Right buttons are mounted to the inner frame of the Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra results in a rather metallic sound during activation. This is distinctly different from the prior 'Elite' version and I noticed it right away. I mention it because it may bother some people. Personally, beyond simply noticing the dramatic change in that sound character to other mice I own, it doesn't bother me in the least... but it is and will be readily apparent to some in the diehard Corsair community.
All-in-all, I think Corsair nailed it with the Corsair - M65 RGB Ultra. It is now my favorite gaming mouse and I'm a long-time G903 aficionado. Size, glide, button reaction time and software control are all top-shelf in my humble opinion and this mouse is proper compliment to the gaming notebook and the K70 keyboard I game on.
Pros:
Very customizable weight tuning system
Bests any of the ultra-lights I have tried
Superior glide
Precision button speed
High quality, scroll wheel action. NO slop!
Smooth and non-binding cable
Excellent ergonomics for right handed use
Cons:
None

Comfortable and easy to use, and a couole of extra buttons to work with on the side, without being overwhelmed by 9 extra inputs like other gaming mice. Adjustable weights and sensitivity make it easier to adjust for faster reaction times while maintaining control on games. The size fits well in my hand unlike my previous mouse which I kept losing my grip on because of how smooth and small it was.

Perfect mouse for somebody with a claw grip. Doesn't have that huge mound that your hand has to sit on. Very wide and comfortable. Grippy. Very natural feeling contours for the hand. Can be as light or heavy as you want. Mouse clicks are on the quieter side. Snappy. Decent software support. The software can be a little convoluted to reprogram key functions, and there are a lot more programmable features than a casual user might be comfortable with. Great fit, finish, and feel. Buy one.

Love the feel, grip, functions, accuracy, weight options, rgb, software and especially the unique 2,000mhz - 4,000mhz - 8,000mhz polling rate. I use 4,000mhz and it makes for a very smooth feel. I've owned about 10 different top name brands over the years and this one is top tier for a great price.

Been using this for gaming and video editing. I will say it is a solid build, good feel in the hand, and smooth throughout. Now I will mention that for some reason the Corsair ICUE program likes to change my DPI between running and shutting down my computer, but it is minor in the grand scheme of things. Overall, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a new solid mouse.

Pros:
- L and RMBs are audible and decisve; main reason upgraded from 2018 Corsair RGB wired mouse is because the LMB was starting to miss on clicks (very annoying); so far I am relieved and impressed by this model L and RMB.
- Compared to older RGB version (2018) this is slightly shorter in length but i am OK with it at this time (6'8")
- Is very light
- Quality packaging
- RGB accents at the mouse wheel, the Logo, and underneath the back of the mouse is another LED
- I have 12 Corsair Fans, Corsair AIO, and RGB Corsair Vengeance RAM so this mouse incorporated with iCue flawlessly as expected
- Accurate tracking thus far
Cons:
- Heavier weights (personal preference so not docking a star)

I’ve been using a Corsair mouse for the past year or so, and the M65 is a great addition to the lineup. While the mouse technically has 8 programmable buttons, the one button I really found helpful to map was the trigger button on the side of the mouse. Not only is it helpful as a trigger button when playing FPS games, it can be mapped to any desired key. I recently picked up New World and was able to map the trigger to the “action” key, and the middle mouse button click to “auto run”, so I can effectively do all the mundane tasks (running, harvesting, interacting) without ever needing to reach for a keyboard.
I’ve spent time using the mouse with both weights in and out, and to be honest it hasn’t affected my gameplay either way. It’s a neat feature to be able to customize the mouse further, but personally has no impact on my enjoyment of the mouse.
The mouse itself has a really good look and feel to it, and I’ve never had any concerns with responsiveness. The top buttons allow you to change the mouse sensitivity quickly on the fly, and can even have the default settings updated on the mouse itself, so if you plug your mouse into another computer, it will retain the settings you chose. Another “nice to have” feature I utilize when switching from my desktop to laptop, but something that I wouldn’t have missed if it weren’t included.
The feel of this mouse is one of best I’ve used, across several brands of gaming mice, and is likely the brand I will purchase in the future if specs across brands are equal.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the m65 Ultra, and I would happily recommend it.

This mouse is very good at what it offers. I upgraded from my old corsair Sabre and I find this one a lot more satisfying to use. The upgraded dpi with custom settings works well for any games I will play. The feel of the mouse is comfortable, however the visual appearance is not the greatest.
The weird gap inbetween the thumb grip and the body looks ugly, however it has not affected the feel at all since my claw grip goes over it. If you have another grip type where you might lay your middle and ring finger on the right button, then you will feel the gap and it might be distracting or uncomfortable. The other critique I have is the sniper button is a little too far up, but that is just my opinion. I am glad they added this as changing dpi settings in game is not quick enough on other mice. Other than that this mouse has been incredible for the price and will definitely stick with Corsair.

I can’t get over how far some components have come. When I started PC gaming my go-to mouse was a Microsoft Intelipoint trackball. I still use a track ball for most of my PC use. But it’s mice like this one that make me switch back every once in a while.
This design is great. I love the not overly aggressive but still modern aesthetic. It feels comfortable to use. And the instant mouse velocity slow down button the Sniper button offers is great for those who use it. It’s something that I feel maybe should have been trying to use earlier and haven’t. It’s a little difficult to add that action to a tried and tested mechanic. But it’s worth a shot. And even if it doesn’t pan out to be what I want it to be, I can easily remap it to do something else.
The mouse itself is very light without any weights installed. It’s at least half of the weight the trackball I keep for other uses. Pairing the ability to tune the weight of the mouse to your liking along with the fast response a wired mouse offers makes this great buy. Not to mention the cord is incredibly light, doesn’t drag, and feels mostly absent as you would hope it would.

biggest selling point of this mouse is the larger grip surface area which is great for my larger hands. Helps to dispel cramping after long periods of use. The weights add to the heft of the mouse which is alot more stable to me as well. the DPI is expansive and the mouse has just enough buttons to accommodate my gameplay without being overkill
