Refurbished but it's same as new - only difference is that it comes in different packaging. Keyboard feels durable, colors are vibrant, keys are responsive. This is an excellent keyboard and for the price it can't be beat!

Would never know I got it refurbished. Keyboard is working great. It is similar to a mechanical feel but still has the membrane feel. I havent had any problems with ghosting or anything. RGB looks cool. Enough said.

Great keyboard. It isn't true mechanical, but I got this because 1, it was on sale and 2, my daughter gets bothered by the loud clacking from true mechanical keyboards. This fixed those issues.

I got a great deal on this refurbished keyboard and it feels and works awesome! I have the bigger K95 brother at my house so the key layout is very similar! the keys are not clicky at all. Got this for the office.

Great keyboard, quality is top notch. Keyboard is quiet compared to mechanical keyboards. Light colors can be changed without installing software. Very satisfied overall.

Very cool keyboard! It lights up great and is very stylish! Use it for gaming and it works flawlessly! Downloaded the software to customize it and it was alittle confusing.

I have had a great experience with this keyboard for the most part. The colors are neat, the keys feel nice as I type on the keyboard. The issue is, within 2 years of purchasing, some keys no longer work. I cannot use the escape key, the volume button and other buttons at the top part of the keyboard do not work. If you are able to get this keyboard on sale or want something that looks nice but might not last more than 2 years, this would be a good choice. I have the geek squad protection plan so I am hoping to get a replacement of this product.

You really don't need an expensive mechanical keyboard for video games. I owned mechanical keyboards before. I love them but I don't think there are different in gaming experience when using them versus this K55. Also, K55 has a numpad keyboard, it's extremely useful if you want to work with 3D application such as Blender. I bought this keyboard as refurbished one with only $25. The keyboard looks just like brand new without any scratch or dust. I'm happy with this purchase.

Looks good, customizable, has wrist attachment. Quiet keyboard, works fine for gaming and regular typing.

Bought this for my girlfriend and she loves the colors for the keyboard and also how she can use it at night without having to turn bright lights on in her home office! She loves it! I have a RAZER board with the backlighting and she loved it so I thought I would buy her a backlit keyboard she liked mine so much! We do not use it for gaming..........we just like how the keyboard lights up and changes colors! :)

I've purchased three of these and really love this keyboard. The software was initially problematic but Corsair has made some significant improvements recently. The keyboard itself has a comfortable layout with less noise than true mechanical keyboards. All keys can be programmed in solid colors as well as patterns. Unlike many other single cable USB keyboards I've used before, the keys on this have good visibility, especially in darker settings. While avid gamers and tech enthusiasts may prefer something more high end, the K55 remains a great option for budget conscious end users looking to purchase an illuminated keyboard.

I was extremely impressed when I received this keyboard. It was in a fantastic condition for being refurbished. I genuinely though it was new. I have very specific needs for my keyboards in terms of key placement and the number pad so this keyboard was just perfect for me. I like the RGB backlighting but it was not explicitly necessary for me. My keyboard on my laptop was customizable for each individual key so I got used to that, but having the ability to quickly and easily turn it off is nice. This is the first keyboard that has volume and song choice adjustment keys so I was very excited to have those. The sound that the keys make is not obnoxious but not quiet either. I think it is just the right amount and I think in some way being able to hear it makes me think I am being more productive. The wrist portion is removable which makes it very convenient if you don't want to have that part or you have a small area for your keyboard to sit. The six "G" keys on the left are easily programmable, but I have found that my left hand defaults to those keys for "CTRL" and "Shift". It will take some time for my hand to adjust so for now I have programmed those keys to perform those functions. I can imagine gamers will not have the same problem. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase and have plans to get the same kind for my wife (refurbished or not) simply because of how nice this one is. I highly recommend it.

Overall, outside of the plain brown box, you would never know this was a refurbished keyboard. It works like I expected and appears like it will hold up for many years of use. My wife likes that it isn't too loud when typing so it will not annoy others. The only downside is that it is wired and not wireless, but I was not going to spend the extra cash on the wireless model.

The keyboard is still working great after a month with no issues. It's very fast and quiet, with no setup required. I've used it primarily for Action RPGs, adventure games, platformers, etc. The macro keys are a great feature for gaming. There are only 3 RGB lighting modes -- all of them use rainbow colors, which is probably the only down side to this keyboard.
