This is an excellent mouse for gaming especially if your playing a shooting game as it has a zoom button on it so it's so much easier to zoom in and out on your gun sights in games. It is smooth across the mouse pad and the buttons are flawless to use and touch.

Overall a great mouse for the money I spent. Aluminum body is light and sturdy, while still feeling full of quality. buttons are tactile and responsive, and despite the mouse's large size my small hands comfortably reach all the buttons in a natural position.

This is my first real gaming mouse, so I shopped around a bit before I purchase one. I am not disappointed in the way it works, I love the sniper button in the thumb rest area, and the mouse sensitivity is adjustable on the fly with the buttons just behind the mouse wheel with the led between those buttons telling you what setting it is on. It is very weighty, which I like, and it slides well on my mouse pad. The buttons are very smooth and the RBG lighting is adjustable with the Corsair Utility program you can download. Some cool effects available if you have a RBG keyboard from them as well. The only issue I have is that the matte finish gets dirty/greasy really easy and I have to wipe it off regularly. I'm not a dirty guy, but jeez.

This mouse is awesome! A button on the side for precise movement really helps in Photoshop. A must have for graphic designers as well as gamers!

I love this mouse. The only downside is the need for the additional software for the color change. However, if you have multiple Corsair RGB products it's very nice that you can sync the colors.

Bought this mouse for my son, who is a big gamer. He tells me he loves it. He tells me it's helping him with every game he's playing. Glad I could get him something he really likes.

It has three weights in the bottom which are removable. It would probably be best for a right-handed person. The mouse software works well and allows you to program buttons.

An excellent gaming mouse. On par with all other Corsair products. Use mostly for aiming in Star Wars Battlefront. Kill rate went up over my previous ASUS mouse.

I originally bought the M65 a few years back when it was branded with Corsair's "gaming" line of products. There was a display model in store and I was sold. A few months after dropping the thing the middle mouse button started to go so then it was time for a replacement. This M65 is identical to the original except for the new Sail logo and Corsair mark on the left mouse button. It features back & forward buttons, a "sniper" button, and six preset dpi settings with two buttons for switching through them. The mouse wheel is not smooth, or free, rather it has a tactile bump when scrolling. The weight is nice and is adjustable by removing one, two, or three of the metal weights inside. It has a flat matte finish on top and a sort of textured matte finish on the sides. If you have a desk lamp and sweaty/greasy hands you will probably notice smudges when you lift your hand off of the mouse, but this is a non-issue for me. With the Corsair utility that can be downloaded you can change the dpi presets and customize the mouse with almost any color imaginable. But if you're not looking for something to customize to your heart's desire this is still an excellent mouse. I only played with the utility once or twice, and the default color scheme of the mouse already looks good to me. If I hadn't dropped my original one when I moved I don't think I ever would have had to replace it!

Other than adjusting the DPi, the mouse reacts like many other mice. The unit lights and is customizable. Works with all of my games and other programs. Good value for the price

Disclaimer: I'm not a big PC gamer - and when I do game on the PC it's almost always with an XB1 controller :) So...why does a non-gamer buy a gaming mouse? Simple, I think 99% of non-gaming mouses look stupid. I wanted something comfortable, cool looking, wired - preferable braided cable, I really liked the idea of being able to adjust the weight. Did I get all those things? Mostly. COMFORT: I dunno, really. Meh? I think maybe it's just not suited to how large my hands are, or at least how long my fingers are? I occasionally use a bit of a "claw" type grip, but mostly not and my fingers just hang off the end. I feel like the "butt" of the mouse (where the Corsair logo is) could be taller too. COOL LOOKING: Most definitely. From the solid aluminum chassis to the placement of the LED lighting and the way it reflects onto the mousepad. Very cool. WIRED: Yes, obviously. And a nice braided cable as well. Of note, the cabling dose come out of the left side of the front of the mouse (if you're looking top down) rather than the center. Probably not going to bother anyone's setup since it is NOT an ambidextrous mouse, but it's worth mentioning. WEIGHT: Adjustable weight is cool. I like a heavier mouse, and meeces tend to be pretty light, so I liked being able to add some weight back. Software: Confusing. I'm sure there's a lot you can do with it, but I'm not invested enough to try. I set my DPI settings, I set my colors, I'm good to go.

What can I say. The mouse is very responsive and the color customizability is great. The aim control button where your thumb sits is a bit weird and I don't know who actually would lower their DPI that much, but it takes some force to push in so I don't accidently press it when playing games or browsing. It is a large mouse so if you have really small hands, beware. It has good weight and works best on my corsair cloth mouse pad. The aluminum pads it makes a scratchy noise on.

Mouse works great but I have small hands and I use a claw grip over top. I am still looking for a smaller mouse. But for me I bump the Sniper button alot.
