Don't Buy for Better Warzone Performance!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is not b-die RAM, bought it because it was 4000MHz and I thought moving from 3200MHz CL16 to 4000MHz CL18 would make a difference which it did not. I was able to select a profile through my motherboard and currently run this RAM at 3600MHz 16-18-18-38 and my FPS highs and lows have both gone up. Lows are around 150 FPS and highs are 210 FPS with max settings at 1440P AA off!

They look good*, run at XMP on AMD, and can be permanently set to a certain color or mode. There are a couple catches though. The LEDs are a mix of yellow and white when set to "white" (255, 255, 255). And it isn't a consistent mix. You'll get some that pop out yellow on one stick and the next stick will have those looking more "cool white". I'd recommend buying 4 or 6 of these if you plan on running white. Return the ones that don't match. As for the other colors, you can set many and actually save them to the RAM itself. This stays even when you swap them into a different PC. The drawback is that you have to use Corsair iCue software to do it - and it's a 1GB download. Do you know why? I don't. It also isn't super intuitive software. The sticks are also very tall so you risk blocking airflow to your CPU cooler - or even hitting it, depending on your model.
