If you were a fan of the originals then pick this up. I already played these on the ps4 but love the convenience of on the go gaming with the switch. Pick this up on a sale and you have an even better deal. 3 games for the price of one or less.

The game captures the spirit of the originals. The graphics and music are quite good, and the stages are good fun. The controls are not the same as the original, I feel myself getting frustrated by missing simple jumps that were far easier to land in the original games. This hasn't ruined the experience for me though.

First and foremost the game (which is the remastered version) runs flawlessly on the switch in both docked and handheld modes. Where things take a turn for the worse is in resolution. In handheld mode, this game looks noticeably blurrier than the other titles on the system. This is because most of the other games perform either close to or at 720p. Crash unfortunately only hits the 480p mark. Things are noticeably darker and muddier. If you can get over this, the game is full of the same greatness it always has been, including all 3 full Crash games in the series. Crash definitely runs and looks better on the big brother consoles, but even with the visual sacrifice for portability, this is a great addition to the switch library.

Nostalgia Lane in HD

This is not an HD remaster, this is a full remake where the studio had to recreate everything from scratch. The PS1 graphics are so old they couldn't be used, instead they remade every character and level from scratch. It really pays off as the game looks good in handheld mode. People complain about it being harder than you remember but honestly it wasn't an easy game back then either. I'd say it's a fun challenge that might sometimes be borderline frustrating.

If you have played Crash back when it first released then these games are the same except they have been remade with todays visuals. The game really plays well and the performance on the switch is excellent. All 3 games are on the cartridge and you should be buying this game instead of reading this review. The game is well done and I recommend it for old an new fans. Enjoy.

This game is really fun. I will be doing separate reviews for each game:
- "Crash Bandicoot": a bandicoot known as Crash escapes a laboratory, where the villain Neo Cortex was doing tests, but he still has Crash's girlfriend, so now he has to go and save her (Yes, that part is a little too cliche). The game-play is decent (It is like Mario, you walk through a level, defeat enemies, and go to the finish). There are boxes you smash (don't smash the TNT), by spinning , and you collect fruit to get lives, and you can also get a tiki mask that gives you extra health. The levels are fun, but they are hard too early, so it might stress out some! The boss levels are also hard.
- "Crash Bandicoot 2": Now Neo Cortex uses Crash to get him crystals without knowing his evil plans for what he will use them for. The game play is the same as the first, but the levels are slightly easier, and I think the boss levels are too easy in my opinion, especially the final boss that was too easy and weak. But it is still equally enjoyable to the first. There are also green Nitro boxes that explode automatically when you touch them, compared to the red TNT boxes that have a timer. And crystals you have to collect.
- "Crash Bandicoot 3": Now Crash has to collect crystals traveling through time. The game is harder than the second game but easier than the first. There are also many different level designs, for example Crash can ride a motorcycle and his sister can ride a tiger and a jet ski. The bosses are slightly harder than the second game's bosses. I haven't finished the game but I am about halfway done.
In conclusion: I love that all the game have different designs and styles but they still manage to feel like the same game. They are funny, excellent, and very hard games.

The port of this remaster is spot on everything is well optimized and carried well over there are a few graphical oversights however. For example, the first boss fight in Crash 3 has glitch enemy models, the main boss is fine but the underlings are missing textures. Other than that the game is an amazing port Id reccomed anyone who already has the trilogy or has played the games in the past to pick up a copy.

My favorite game on the switch. Three games in one with tons of levels. Each level is so fun to play, but be mindful it gets hard, but you can always go back and play The levels you beat and practice levels you’ve conquered, and the levels are all so great. Lots of fun in this bundle. I couldn’t stop playing when I first got it. You’ll crash the night away!

This is as much fun as the original but on the switch platform it is even better. The fun puzzles and movements required to advance past each level is great fun for those that have played Crash games before and even better for those who are experiencing these games for first time. Highly recommended for the young gamers on your holiday gift list.

I was excited to see these games get a remake, and then come to Switch. Crash games are some of the toughest platforming games you’ll play, and it’s fun and frustrating the whole way through. Definitely grab this is you’re a fan of the old games, and if you like platformers, and a challenge, pick it up if you haven’t played them before

Man this trilogy brings back memories in high definition! The game is still as fun as it was as a child. I wouldn’t play for hours like I did as a child, but it’s definitely a fun time killer from time to time! Haha, I recommend it if you’re feeling skeptical about buying this classic!

What a wonderful blast from my past. This remastered version brought me right back to when I was younger, playing Crash on my PS1. It brought back all the fun with better, cleaner visuals. All the level designs and music are the same, just better. The best part is I can take it with me on the go and play anytime, anywhere.

What a fun game! It looks awesome! This game is worth your money, after all it is all 3 Crash games in one. For those who grew up playing and loving Crash during the Playstation era, this game is for you. If you haven't played Crash, if you love platform style games, why don't you have this already? You will be pleased.

Crash Bandicoot fans out there should not pass up the chance to own the N.Sane trilogy on your Nintendo Switch!
Although there are no new updates to the game that differentiate it from the Xbox and Playstation versions, it is nice to undock your Switch and take Crash with you on the go!
The N.Sane Trilogy offers up the original three Crash Bandicoot titles from the Playstation era completely remastered. There are even two new never-before-released courses that are included with the game for those who are looking for an extra challenge.
The graphics look great on the Nintendo Switch and I've already played through and completed the first two games (currently playing through the third entry) and having a blast reliving the memories from playing this game (and dying over and over) back on my Playstation.
If you are a gamer looking for a challenge who has never played a Crash Bandicoot game before or someone looking to relive your gaming past (like me), make sure to pick this one up! Just prepare to use up those extra lives! :)

OMG - This game is exactly how I remembered it, but better! The graphics are perfect and the levels are just as fun now at 26 as they were at 12 (or however old I was when it came out). However, it does seem a little more difficult than I remember. It could just be all the alcohol catching up to me though!
