This game brings nostalgia as I sit back and play and it brings me back to my childhood when these three games were first released. They totally remastered all three Crash games and they look fantastic. Well worth the price.

    A Crash Course

If you loved Crash Bandicoot back in the day, this is a beautiful, fresh new reminder of what you've always loved. If you didn't or you've never played it, consider this a crash course in the world of Crash Bandicoot. Whether it appeals to you will likely be dependent on your willingness to tolerate absurd difficulty spikes and play what is a vastly dated experience despite the touch ups.

This Crash Bandicoot remake is a must have for people who are interested in revisiting the classic gameplay of Naughty Dog's original trilogy. It's also recommended for those who are new to the series and want a taste of what made these games legendary, but aren't keen on finding an original PlayStation to play the games. This is how you do a remake. It isn't a mere remaster with slightly better resolution or "cleaner" textures. For anyone still doubtful, this is a rebuild of the original games with modern visual techniques and a solid framerate! The gameplay is tight and fun, the visuals are wonderful, and the music is spot on. I can't recommend this more than I already am. Get this game if you love video games!!

Everyone remembers Crash Bandicoot. For me, the original game was the 1st game I bought when I got my Playstation almost 20 years ago. This game is what a remaster should be. It's still that game I bought when I was a kid, the same levels I got stuck on and had to repeat over and over again to learn how to beat it. All the elements that made me love it in the first place are still there, and they look amazing. The visuals have been upgraded to full on HD, and look absolutely stunning, but also still feel genuine to the original games. Overall, this game is a showcase of what a remaster should be. Faithfully recreated to still feel like the original, but brought into the modern era of beautiful graphics.

Crash is a great game for anyone. It's fun, and can be tricky at times. My best friend and I used to play these games for hours and have so much fun. It's just as fun as I remember.

Still just as fun and frustrating as I remember haha the only difference is that coco looks a little weird. Other than that graphics are better but the controls are still slow

Great remake of the original three Crash games. The controls aren't always perfect compared to most modern games but that's a small complaint for how much fun this game is!

First Real Exposure to Crash Bandicoot - I Love It

I had been a PC gamer until 2015, but I was familiar with console games and characters. The only Crash Bandicoot game I played prior to the N. Sane Trilogy was Crash Team Racing for the original Playstation. My wife, on the other hand, had played many Crash Bandicoot games and was excited about this release, which is why we bought it. Her takeaway was that she doesn't remember it being as difficult as it is, but that the graphics are amazing. Having this be my first real exposure to what Crash Bandicoot is known for, I was not exactly sure what to expect. Having played and watched my wife and kids play as well, I would have to agree with my wife that the game is difficult and looks amazing. The difficulty and challenge of the game is actually a plus for me. I appreciate games that will keep you playing over and over again because part of the fun is the challenge. A lot of games these days allow you to get hit many times before you're defeated, and you usually get to spawn in a convenient place relative to where you died in-game. With these games, there is little protection offered against enemies, and you restart at checkpoints that you have activated or at the beginning of the level - adding to the difficulty and strive to do well. The game is also goofy, wacky, zany - you name it. It's hard to be mad and frustrated at the game when Crash's deaths can make one laugh. For an easier Crash Bandicoot experience, I would suggest Skylanders Imaginators. That was my kids' first exposure to Crash and that made them want to play the N. Sane Trilogy.

A classic game rebuilt with modern graphics! A great nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up with the original PlayStation, right done to the (sometimes) clunky controls.

I remember back when I played this game for the original PlayStation. It was one of my favorite platformers of all time. When I started playing this game again it brought back all those memories. This was a great remake and the way they did all the graphics still gave it that retro feel, but also gave it a new school type of feel to it. I enjoyed every second I played this game and would tell any fellow Crash fan to pick this up as soon as they can. The fact that you get all 3 original games in one just adds to how great this bundle really is.

Aside from long loading times, and somewhat minor physics issues this is a remake done with great care. I'm still hoping they are able to patch those issues, but even if they don't this is a very solid collection of 3 classic platforming games at a very reasonable price. The games get progressively easier, I suggest starting with Crash 2 if this is the first time you are playing the series. Crash 1 has some very cruel levels that will be easier with the experience of the other games. The run and jump gameplay holds up surprisingly well, in an era with far fewer games of it's style.

The Crash trilogy is a fun HD remaster of the old PlayStation 1 classics, but don't be surprised if you find yourself ticked off by some tricky jumps and enemies. It takes a major level of precision and platforming skill to get through these!

I vividly remember playing these games back on the ps1 and wished for a remastered. I guess my wish was answered. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy offers you what you remembered playing but with better graphics and a smoother frame rate. The extra addition of the missing level as dlc (provided on the playstation store) was also a nice bonus as well. Compared to a game like Yooka-Lalee, this franchise and it's trilogy has it beaten it the platformer category hands down.

I've only ever played crash 3, maybe once or twice. I've always wanted to experience the original games for myself since they are considered some of the best platformers of all time, but the games are dated and I didn't have a readily accessible way to play them or let alone get my hands on them. The came N Sane Trilgooy. This game is a beautiful restoration of the original trilogy. The graphics are smooth and stunning. The level design is true to the original games as well. However, the game only runs at 30 fps. This isn't a huge issue, 60fps is just industry standard. The game is still beautiful though. The motion blur does a little bit to compensate for the frame rate. The music has been updated as well and it's just as incredible, wacky, and upbeat. The main theme is very catchy, it's always stuck in my head. As far as gameplay goes, each game gets progressively more difficult the farther you progress and it gets DIFFICULT. As of now, I've only beaten the first game, which many consider to be the hardest of the three. There are also two infamously difficult levels that had me stuck for a fair amount of time. Much of the challenge comes from tight jumps and the fact that Crash is only ale to take one hit before losing a lfie. If you die too many times, the game will provide you with shields upon your next life that can absorb one or two hits for you. They always annoyed me. It felt like the game was patronizing or coddling me. Though, I probably never would have beaten the game without them. Once you've cleared all of the levels, the game encourages you to go back and break every crate in all of the levels and collect every gem as an extra challenge. And of course, PlayStation offers trophies and achievements to collect, offering another extra layer of challenge. There's also a time attack/trial mode, so the games have wide replayability. The last thing I'd like to include is that for the first time ever, the game gives you the option to play as Crash's sister, Coco Bandicoot. This is a minor detail and she doesn't control any different from a gameplay standpoint (as far as I can tell), but it's fun to see. Another option for the player to choose depending on their preference. All in all, it's a solid experience and the trilogy definitely holds ups to the glory and acclaim the series has amassed over the years.

Yup, had never played this game, despite having an original PlayStation. Sad huh? My wife is a fan of the old Crash games and decided to pick it up for her since we just got a PS4. As someone who has now just played this for the first time, I've got to say that this is a very good, solid platformer with enough challenge for those looking for a straight up, back to basics platformer. I'm having a blast and glad that i can experience this game from the days of old.

The updated graphics make it considerably more pleasant to look at. However, the awful controls are still in place making this very unforgiving when jumping, landing, etc.. It is true to the original, and still extremely fun.

The first three Crash Bandicoot games are rightfully held in great esteem for being excellent platformers that were great to have in the early days of the Playstation 1. This collection updates the graphics but not much else but that isn't a bad thing. The games are still extremely fun to play but newcomers should be prepared for a higher level of difficulty than is typically seen with family friendly games these days.
