We’ve officially retired the crayon sharpener and the pile of broken wax bits. My 6-year-old is usually pretty 'enthusiastic' (okay, aggressive) with coloring, but these twistable barrels are a game changer. He loves that he can just twist for more color, and I love that the plastic casing keeps them from snapping in half. The special effects—especially the neon and metallics—actually show up really well, even on the darker construction paper he likes to use. Great for car rides too because there are no paper wrappers to peel and leave all over the floor!
