Not a very deep plot, but enough action and decent acting to make this a movie I could watch repeatedly. Not as good as Sicario, but heckuva lot better than The Revenant. one of those "no thinking required" movies (which I happen to like)

Loved the cast in this sci-fi thriller. Convict gets placed into a good guy CIA body. Almost gave it a 3, because the action is a little redundant from other science-fiction thriller. But the cast pulled it off and brought it to a 4.

The story combines some Sci Fi with a good old fashioned crime story/government cover up. Plus it includes the new talent Gal Gadot who is playing the role of Wonder Woman in the up coming DC series big box films...... Can't wait...

Interesting role for kevin Costner. excellent cast in a sci-fi storyline action movie. seeing Costner, tommy lee jones, and gary oldman all together again was cool, just wish they all could have had their characters more developed.

Criminal is a spin-off of Face Off with Nicholas Cage. The new cast consist of Hollywood heavyweights: Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman, and Gal Gadot. If you love Tommy Lee Jones, I'm sure you'll love this movie!!

This little gem came out last summer, and was a subtle hit. It is a cross of science fiction, and the usual Kevin Costner actioner, with a lot of violence. The movie is very good and believe it or not, tugs at your heart strings, many times. It is one of those movie where Costner is the bad guy, but you root for him anyway.

Kevin Costner carries this movie on his back from the get-go. I like Costner movies period and this was no exception. I got the feel of a "Face Off" style Nickolas Cage role, which I liked, but with a Hannibal Lector twist.

I was interested in seeing this movie after seeing Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman. She was great in a supporting role, but this movie had a good cast, plenty of action, and Kevin Costner did very well in the starring role.

The film reminds me of face off. Interesting to see Kevin Costner play a bad guy. Great popcorn flick. Video wise the film pops on 4k hdr. Crisp video throughout. Sound is pretty standard, meaning most is center speaker.

Never heard of this, but took a chance because it was on sale and had a good cast. Very interesting plot idea that is well handled. But a warning, Kevin Costner's character is NOT a nice guy!

Looking at the cast of this film I thought "How can it not be a good film". I was right, interesting story good acting. Kevin Cosner plays a charector atypical for him and does a good job.

Was not sure what to expect but wanted a movie in 4K for my new 4K TV and 4K Player. enjoyed the movie and was pleased with it and the super 4K definition.

I really enjoyed this action movie with a different type of plot. With an all star cast including Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Costner, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. You won't be disappointed.

Kevin Costner played a dangerous criminal with no remorse about his crimes. The CIA uses him to transplant a dead CIA dead agent memories, so Costner can finish the CIA mission.

This was an interesting movie with an interesting plot. Interesting casting Tommy Lee Jones as the genius Dr. This was a bit strange he played the part well just not what I expect from him.

The gist is:CIA agent Bill Pope (Ryan Reynolds) dies while traveling to a secret location to meet a hacker who can launch missiles at will. Desperate to find his whereabouts, officials turn to an experimental neurosurgeon who can transfer memories from one brain to another. The guinea pig for the procedure is Jerico Stewart (Kevin Costner), a violent and dangerous death-row inmate. Now gifted with Pope's skills and knowledge, Stewart must race against time to stop a sinister international conspiracy.

It kinda had a twist that I could not get into right away. And having to see how this played out was weird in how they changed the fortunes of 2 men in the way they wanted to get information.

Best Buy had a great price on their movies so we picked this up in a 2fer deal. But this movie, was a bit to much for me. Half of it was spent getting to know the characters...the other half resolving everything. Took too much time to show us what a criminal he was. Not my thing.

This is a very solid movie acted well for the action movie that it is. There will be no Oscars here but if you want a night of enjoying a good popcorn flick this will work great.
