Criminal has a great cast, it was not as gripping as I thought it would be but it's entertaining.

The movie starts out looking like a by-the-numbers spy movie. After a bit of backstory on the main characters the theme switches gears to a high-speed thriller, punctuated by some compelling interaction between Costner and Gadot. I wouldn't quite call this a sci-fi movie, but the whole "brain transfer" thing obviously has some sci-fi elements to it.

I really liked this movie! I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, and I thought I could figure it all out, but I was never able to see the twists and turns ahead of time. The thing I like best about it is that the movie - despite all the action, and gory action at that - is really all about people. People and personalities and knowing good vs evil and wrong from right...and how a person can know wrong from right, and then cherish that knowledge once one sees it. If it was a book it would be a page turner.

It's rather sad how the government is portrayed as using a mentally handicapped individual to foster its own agenda. The used main character suffered as a result. The plus side is that he, in the end, found a better life with a family who wanted to hang onto their loved one who died. Well, looks like he was "used" again. Movie was different, but was worth watching.

I didnt think this movie was going to be as good as it was, however, I'm happy to report it turned out to be one I really enjoyed. Good cast and fast paced action keep you captivated. Also the twists and turns keep the plot from being transparent like most movies in the genre. I would say this movie has somthing for everyone, and that makes it a must see.

I was a little weary of this movie when I heard was the basic plot was, that they were going to transfer memories from one person to another. In the end though the movie didn't turn out to be all that bad. Sure, the plot is pretty unrealistic and all but thanks to the acting talents of Kevin Costner and the rest of the cast, this is a worthwhile watch.

I haven't heard much about this movie. I watched it because of the advertised cast. A mixture of science fiction and action thriller. Costner provides a haunting performance as Jericho Stewart, a brain damaged criminal. Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Oldham meshed well in supporting roles. Was pleasantly surprised and exceeded my expectation.

This is exactly what it's supposed to be. Unadulterated mayhem and violence. Using love as a backdrop. Costner has shown a great skill of extracting empathy for his villains, Waterworld, A Perfect World, and now this. Gal Gadot is showing great range in the parts she chooses. Tommy Lee Jones great simple performance.

Blu ray that comes with a DVD, not sure why, and a digital download. Packaged well and looks like 99 percent of the other blu ray disc on the shelf. The movie is 3.75 stars. It's a sci-fi, action flick. Shut your brain off and enjoy the ride. It's less thrilling than MIB but more fun than Arrival. Great actors and tense action. Rating is based on what the type of movie it is. Up against the Godfather or the Exorcist, it is a 2 at best.

As improbable as the premise is, this thriller turns out to be not only entertaining but heart-warming in the end. Full of violence but only the bad guys get killed or hurt and you go, "YEAH!" when the protagonist pummels some of these jerks. Interesting that this film did not receive much attention. It is what I would call a sleeper.

Plenty of action with plausible acting and plot development.

Even though Kevin Costner seems to disappear for decades at time, when he comes out to make a movie, it is always worth a watch. This is an action packed movie and a good old fashioned crime story along with a government cover up/conspiracy twist. Good shoot em up action and isn't as predictable as you may think.

Great movie with great storyline and action packed. I enjoy almost everything that features Kevin Costner. He is a great actor in my opinion and did a wonderful job in this movie. A great and entertaining film production which now I have in my Blu-Ray and Ultra Violet collection. I highly recommend this movie.

This movie has a great cast, including Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, and Tommy Lee Jones. Costner goes from being a sociopath to a caring person after he gets the memories and values of a caring CIA agent. Everybody is completely convincing, especially Costner, in a movie with a far fetched plot.

I don't know how I missed this one when it came out in the theaters, maybe because the title is so unassuming, but don't let this one slip by you. It has an interesting premise, a stellar cast, and is one of Kevin Costner's best performances in years, full of subtleties and the role stretches him outside his usual stoic performances.

wow if you like the bourne series or mission impossible you going to love criminal. it has a great plot. a fbi agent dies. they wind up swapping brains with a death row inmate. they go through his memories to stop a nuclear missle from being launched. you will fall in love with this movie. like you actually know the characters. i highly recommend it to anyone.

This movie rocks, the heavy hitters are all here, Kevin Costner & Tommy Lee Jones like you have never seen before !!! Jones hasn't done a movie like this since U.S. Marshall !!! Kevin Costner was great aswell !!! Great action scenes & plenty of keep you on the edge of your seat scenes !!! Great flick !!! 4K is phenomenal !!! Blu-Ray not too shabby either !!!

I watched this movie because I like Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Costner. Don't go in expecting to see a lot of Ryan Reynolds. I thought it was an enjoyable movie that kept me entertained. I would recommend it to any fans of Kevin Costner
