    Super fun game! The basic combat flow feels a lot more tighter than ff7r. One grievance is that leveling up is locked behind the roulette system.

    Clearly a lot of effort went into this remaster! It’s almost like a complete remake. Game itself is fun, but can get repetitive at times.

    I very much enjoyed playing through this game. It made for a good follow up to playing through final fantasy 7 remake previously. However, the gameplay is more limited in comparison to FF7 remake and can get fairly repetitive towards the end.

    Gameplay is excellent, combat is fun and the DMW system is pretty unique. The visuals are largely incredible- the PSP-era pre-rendered cutscenes look pretty out-of-place among the rest of the modern-quality graphics but it's not a huge issue. My biggest complaint is a lot of the English voice acting is pretty mediocre, but the good performances really stand out.
