Good luck finding these rarities anywhere. And this Criterion box set is hard to find also at a decent price. I haven't seen these films since I was a child in the sixties. I actually saw The Atomic Submarine in the local Schine's Theatre. Corridors Of Blood and The Haunted Strangler both star Boris Karloff and even Christopher Lee has a cool role in Corridors as Resurrection Joe. I searched for these two films forever until I found Criterion had a set. All four films were made in the late 50s but are so worth seeing. Karloff's role in The Haunted Strangler is so terrifying and dig those horrid sound effects when he kills. Yow!! First Man in Space is also gruesome. If you like your older horror and especially the 60s Horror boom, don't miss these. They are obscure and different. They also have seemed to disappear for a couple decades until Criterion resurrected them. All produced by Richard and Alex Gordon in a two year span. Alex Gordon helped found AIP (American International Pictures.) Includes 2 informative booklets.

although this is a gerat collection of classic monster films, the title is wrong. this site says that it is a 5 disk set, it is really only a 4 disk set. i was kind of disapointed that there was no 5th disk but i was still glad that i got it.
