I wanted to start collecting vinyl as a hobby so I thought I would start with an easy to use record player. I would describe the Crosley - Cruiser Portable Turntable as a beginners tool to get into vinyl records. The record player is sturdy and simple to use, but it becomes a nuisance when playing modern songs that require speeds of 33 1/2 rpm's, the Crosley does not have that speed. A part from that it is a very cute and accessible. The portable speakers are nice but to truly enjoy the records you will need to connect it to an external speaker that boosts the sound. So when purchasing this make sure you have great external speakers, if they are wireless than the Crosley will be useless, if they have a jack to connect external sources then make sure to purchase the correct wires.

Worked right out of the box and delivered better than expected sound quality. We played old and new vinyl and enjoyed teaching the kids how to operate a turntable. This is the basic model, no stacking of multiple records. The included 45 rpm adapter was a nice touch and case closes securely for moving and storing. The headphone feature worked well, but we have not tested the MP3 output capabilities. Overall, this is a great basic turntable for the price.

I bought this record player for my tween daughter who has suddenly become hip to vinyl. The availability of colors was enticing, as well as the built in speakers, minimal size and suitcase type of casing - that allows the record player to be folded when necessary. I would say the sound quality is good - not great. This is more for the amateur I think - a "soundie" might want a better piece of gear.

Just like I had when I was a kid, although it sounds a little better and can even be used with a different external speaker. Gave it as a gift and she loves it. If you're a vinyl audiophile, you should probably go with a better turntable. But, if you dabble in records and listen occasionally, give this one a try. It's portable and the design is great.

This little Crosley unit is perfect for our daughter. A self contained unit not requiring any additional speakers or amp is perfect for her room and future dorm room when she starts college.

I bought this for my Mom in the nursing home. I can bring her albums from home that she always enjoyed and loved. Turntable is easy to use, compact to fit in her closet, and has decent sound. 33 rpm records do rub a little on the lid but is minimal.

I bought this turntable for my daughter for Christmas and yes she wanted it! It's nice to see the kids going back to the albums the old and the new. It looks great in her room the color is great I just wish the speakers were a little bit louder.

Very pleased with this turntable, nice tone arm controls, great size for my college age daughter in her apartment. Good sound with its own speakers.

Portable and easy to use. Played out albums with no skipping. Very good sound. Hooked to out tv for stereo sound. Easy to use.

The turntable works very well and has good quality sound. It's loud enough to fill a room. However, it's not loud enough for a gathering or something. Very reasonable quality for the price.

I was looking for a fun colored quality record player to play some old records I have. Crosley delivered! The orange color was cool and it sounds great. It has a nice well built feel to it operates perfectly!

Bought this record player for my boyfriend for Christmas. Its a really cute record player. In some of the reviews people were complaining about the sound quality but its actually pretty loud for a portable record player.

I bought this to simply listen to some old vinyl I had found while traveling. I wanted an inexpensive portable record player that was compact and produced a decent sound. The Crosley Cruiser fit this need and does it fairly well. Understand that this player will not satisfy an audiophile, but it does its job. this player can connect to external speakers via a 3.5mm jack at the back of the player which will greatly improve your listening experience.

Our daughter recently became interested in vinyl ao we needed to get a turntable for her. After much research, we decided on the Crosley Turntable due to the sound and previous reviews.
