4K movies with HDR provide absolutely breathtaking quality. Your taste in movies titles and subjects is up to you. Obviously we like the film for the story it tells and the way the actors do their job. Otherwise, why spend the money at 4K HDR prices if you don't already know what your getting?

Everything about this film, the cinematography, direction, story, characters... have all been made better with this updated blu ray edition. The new transfer is brilliant and the sound design is top notch. Been waiting for this to come out for a while, and was not disappointed in the slightest.

Excellent movie. Beautiful cinematography and fight choreography. The picture is a noticeable improvement over the older bluray. I can't comment on the uhd disc because I'm not equipped with a 4k tv yet. The Atmos track is solid, but not too aggressive with use of the added height channels.

Ang Lee's Wu Shu masterpiece does so many things right. The leads are all terrific. The martial arts and action pieces are spectacular. And the story grabs you right to the end. My highest recommendation. Picture quality is a significant upgrade from the previous DVD and Blu-Ray editions.

The movie is definitely an artistic piece worth watching as it has a cast of notable actors. Not your typical flick from the genre. I went in expecting something and I went away with a totally different perspective.

Wonderful new transfer of a modern day classic directed by Ang Lee. I remember seeing this with an audience and everyone being captivated by the beauty of the fight choreography and by the gorgeous cinematography. This blu ray took me back to that time in the theater. Highly recommended!

Wonderful film. Finally upgraded it to Blu-Ray because the sequel just came out as well... hoping for a domestic U.S. release from Netflix of the sequel Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny. Both are excellent films and I hope there is a 3rd one to complete the Trilogy.

I still remember this movie after all the years. Had it on VHS, DVD and now blu ray. The martial arts fighting sequences is worth watching the movie and the Chinese desert sequences must have been too hot for the actors to shot. Must have been really hot. Deserves all the awards it got.

Nice 4K Ultra HD version of this movie. The first action scene that occurs at night is detailed with excellent black levels. Colors were vibrant, even for low light level images. I would recommend this purchase.

Love this movie what a fabulous job they did only original Blu-ray disc then rewrite Blu-ray book copy and the new artwork copy but again great great movie. Also on a note the the movie that's on Netflix that follows Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is great. The sword of Destiny

extremely detailed scan of the film. 4k hi res scan of film negative so be ready for lots of grain. that being said the painted desert scenes are some of the best scenes ever filmed enjoy the resolution.

My wife and I saw this movie when it came out 20 years ago and we both loved it. It was very well acted and the action scenes were executed perfectly. A must have for fans of this genre of cinema.

I've been wanting this movie on blu-ray forever now and finally got it. If for some reason you haven't seen this movie, now is the time to get it. Beatiful visuals, great story line, excellent soundtrack, and the martial arts and swordplay are beautiful and intense.

Crouching Tiger was the FIRST digital video disc I ever purchased. I've long since parted company with that disc, so it's nice to have this 4K steelbook version to replace it.

I have the original release of this on Blu-ray, and it's great, however, the re-mastering and releasing of this on UHD is on two whole nother levels! I have a 7.1.4 audio system and the ATMOS mix of this release really makes the difference in the experience for me.

The film itself is good because it keeps you entertained with stylistic and amazing fight choreography. There were a couple of scenes that I felt slowed the film down but only because I was expecting something and got another thing. The blu-ray upgrade is amazing. There are a good amount of features that inform the viewer of behind the scenes of how the film was made. Recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, it was captivating all the way to the end. The fight scenes were very well coordinated, especially the acrobatic flying in the air. Highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys great martial arts showmanship.

Without a shadow of a doubt, if not THE most classic martial arts love stories of our time starring Chow Yun-fat, Michelle Yeoh, ZiYi-zhang, & Cheng Pei-pei. Awesome action choreography by the Yuen Woo-ping squad. 5 Star Film is what this movie is.

This is my top favorite Kung-fu movie, because it takes place in the past and the actors that starred in it are my favorite, because they have true talent in their Kung-fu skills.
