This disc is a huge improvement over its predecessor, especially in the video quality department. This is the way this movie was meant to be presented in your home theater. Highly recommended.

As this movie has aged over 17 years I really enjoy it over and over again for best film editing and for the story! So much better than the one on Netflix and the surround sound is brilliant!

It's highly collectible movie now on 4K. This classic is very good to showcase sounds of one's surround system; Atmos and non-Atmos systems alike. The picture quality on 4K is excellent.

I've owned this movie on DVD, blu-ray and now the UHD version. One of my favorite movies. I have a Dolby Atmos setup and the Atmos soundtrack just added to my enjoyment of this movie.

When I worked retail, I used to use this movie to demonstrate the new HD TV's...(how long ago was that??). The cinematography is outstanding and worthy of your attention. Get it!!

The 4K image improves over the Blu-ray/DVD but there is still some video noise (e.g., look at faces at the start of the movie). The audio is a big improvement. There are some new extras and all previous Blu-ray extras are included. Highly recommended!

This is a surprisingly good movie which shows a good perspective of Chinese culture. The acting and writing is also exceptional.

I remember seeing this movie in theaters so I had to pick it up on Blu-ray. The story and actions draws you into the movie. Please check it out if you never have seen it before.
