Fast and reliable storage
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This drive was purchased to provide fast and reliable storage for my new gaming computer. The speeds I obtain are as advertised (see results below). I use this drive to store large files that I use intermittently. It does a very good job. This was a good purchase.

Crucial is the way to go. These are fire!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crucial MX SSDs are great. I have bought 3 in the last year. The 2tb, I bought, replaced an old HD in my Xbox One S. Made that console far faster. I put a 1tb MX in my Xbox One X which also runs beautifully now. The third one I bought was a HD replacement for my 2012 MacBook Pro hard drive. These drives are great and fast.

Fast, tons of storage (2TB)
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Value for money and delivers competitive performance. This is used as a backup drive for transferring DSLR camera images from memory card and for sorting thru them. The quick response helps reduce load times/thumbnail loading times and any image manipulations. Recommended if you're looking to add some speedy internal storage to your PC or laptop. Through the gauntlet - Y510P HDD Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First drive had zero issue's. Formatted, OS installed, smooth sailing. Two days later, absolute paperweight; would not post, tested on multiple systems. Reinstalled the OEM HDD, back to normal; head scratcher. Returned to store, zero issue's with a clean exchange (appreciate that). Been running smooth ever since, and as it replaced an aging 1TB HDD the performance increase and double capacity has given a dinosaur wings. System: Lenovo Y510P 10/10, would exchange again.

Great Value and Speedy storage upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had several Crucial MX500 1TB Internal SSD disks in my various systems. I like the MX500 series better than the BX500 series. The MX500 series has slightly faster sequential read speed and a longer warranty. I like to keep at least one spare 2.5 inch SSD if I need to add storage to an older system that doesn't have the ability to take m.2 storage. This particular Crucial MX500 offered the 2TB size at a great sale price, so I grabbed one to keep on hand. When you have a Crucial drive installed, you get access to a free copy of Acronis True Image that is designed for Crucial drives. During startup of the program it actually looks for a Crucial drive. The software is great for cloning one drive to another in case you're switching your OS drive from an HDD to an SSD. The software is intuitive and quick to help you migrate your OS. Overall, the Crucial MX500 2TB is a great value and speedy upgrade to your system.

The King of 2.5” SSDs for this IT Guy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite 2.5” SSD. We have at least 50 of them deployed in my building ranging from 500GB-2TB. They’re very fast, very affordable and we have yet to see one fail. This is my go to drive for upgrading old systems. These SSDs give new life to pokey old PCs and make Win10 fly. We also have several in older Macs that can still be upgraded. Forget Samsung or others, if you need 2.5”, this is the SSD you want.

Nice price for a 3d-NAND solid-state
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good, haven't really tested it for long but it was easy to install. Can easily be formatted with windows but crucial offers acronys true image and microns proprietary software as well so there's alot of settings you can tweak as well as adding an extra cache partition. I however am just using this as my gaming drive /secondary ssd to an nvme so its not really necessary on my end. Definitely worth the price if it's still on sale. It's a 3d-nand drive too so it's not like this thing is outdated or going to break down quickly as it's the same tech they still use for alot of m2 ssds. If definitely grab one of these while you can of you're tired of running out of space or just want something faster than an hdd. I have a western digital black gaming hdd and the improvement in performance is incredible, this makes playing nexgen games smoothly possible at a much lower cost than an m2 or WD/SANDISK branded drive
