Upgrade complete, from 2TB to 4TB
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While there may not be options to boost the overall performance of the P3 Plus, I would say it's generally more than fast enough for my custom gaming rig. Definitely a plus from going 2TB to 4TB.

Solid Performance, Great Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had to consolidate my storage from 2 hard drives onto an nvme ssd and was looking to purchase a second 980 Pro. This drive is definitely not the fastest out there, only able to read at speeds around 4000mbps and write at 4800mbps. However, it still performs capably with moving 3TB worth of steam games without any hiccups. I use this drive strictly for my steam library and games load much quicker than before, and I haven’t had any issues. Overall, if you’re looking to get a large storage drive and don’t need Gen 5 nvme, super fast read/write speeds, and are trying to fit within a budget, this Crucial P3 should perform excellent if you’re upgrading from 2.5” ssds or any hard disk drive.

Fast and Reliable!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best ssd chip before going to a baracuda ssd. If using portable- the case is everything. Don’t skimp! buy a thunderbolt 4 aluminum enclosure with a fan. Never experienced heat or throttling problems that way. In an acasis pro enclosure i get a reliable 2800 read and write on this chip!

Decent
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a 4TB for my PS5 thinking it’ll do a decent read speed. Installed a aftermarket heatsink. After formatting, the PS5 reading lower than expected. i was expecting at least 4500mb. I still think it’s a good value for anyone who wants to expand their PS5 storage.

100% Trash SSD
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those who consider buying it I want to tell you this thing is a trash, if you want to write anything larger than 5GB the writing speed is amazingly 50MB/s, even an SD Card is better than that. Avoid at all costs.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works very well. I installed the operating system on it, so just so you know, if someone does the crystal disk mark or whatever it's called speed test on it, it will probably be a little slower because some of it is being used by the operating system if you installed the operating system on it. Anyway, it works well. Has been reliable. I've had it for about a year. I got the 4tb model. I want them to release an 8tb model and I want this 4tb model to be one sided in the future! By the way, i put this a heat sink from best buy. I think it was an insignia heat sink for like maybe around $15. Works well. Kept it cool.

Great, fast SSD
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Built a brand new high end PC with all the best components. Yes it is a gaming PC but it is also the family computer. This hard drive offers exceptional speed, 4 TB size, and worked flawlessly on first installation. There are more expensive SSDs out there that give you nothing more. This one is instslled in my mobos ‘direct cpu’ connection spot at pcie 5.0. Wonderful choice for SSD. I think ill buy more as the mobo has 4 more SSD nvme slots.

Fast and spacious 4TB
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great storage capacity. Keep an eye out for sales as the price on the 4TB has dipped to under 200. There are definitely more performance/gaming-oriented NVME drives available at BestBuy, but the price per GB at the time, and Crucial’s reputation of reliability made me choose this one for my non-gaming computer.

So much space, such a decent price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my laptop and PS5. Laptop is Gen3 but that's fine - this is mostly maxing out what it is capable of in terms of speed and I will never need to carry around a portable drive again. Plays nicely in PS5 (add a low-profile heat spreader!) and I can install all my PS5 games on it with no issues. Loading speed doesn't feel any different than the included storage on PS5. This drive, on sale, is the absolute best value 4TB Gen4 NVME drive out there without question.
